Flash, An Original Disney Channel Movie;; part 7

The film details the story of a child Conner Strong (played by Lucas Black), who visits a horse every day in hopes of buying it. To do so, Conner finds work as a delivery boy to save enough money for his dream. Conner lives with his father David (played by Brian Kerwin) and grandmother Laura (played by Ellen Burstyn), but when they do not have enough money to repay the bills, Conner's father rejoins the merchant marines to pay back the mortgage and has enough money to buy Conner the horse. However, when his job requires David to join the merchant marines and head to sea for five months, Connor's idyllic life begins to unravel. His grandmother becomes sick and dies, the family home faces foreclosure, and Connor is forced to sell Flash to an unruly owner who beats the beloved horse. Connor then rescues Flash and together they set off on a cross-country journey to reunite with Connor's father.

I remember this movie! I remember it being so long, that poor boy and horse went through so much. I love Lucas Black.

YES! Finally! A smart person! How many times do you see people in movies being chased and they run down the middle of the road? There are plenty of places to turn off where they could get away, but no. They just keep running down the middle of the stinking road... Way to go kid! Woot woot! A simple hop over the fence and suddenly the meany can't follow you! >:) Booya!

For years, I searched for a movie, only knowing that there was a scene were an abused horse struck a boy down in the stable and he crawled under the manger. I've been searching for it since I saw it on the disney channel! So happy to have found it!!

I remember the Scene where the kid had an emotional break down and started taking it out on the horse and straight up wanting to murder him with a rock when I was a kid. Seriously was praying he die.

very true but it was a race against time 2 reunite wit his father so though he did face starvation at times he was clearly growing up knowing about sacrifices some people who work hard for every dollar starve themselves just 2 make it.

I’ve searched everywhere and am convinced they never released it on DVD. There are a couple scam websites selling it but they’re not reputable. Disney needs to get with the program and release it onto DVD and Plus.

Yes to all, but it' his father verbally abused him, it's not totally his fault but he did have a choice to do it or not instead. plus he shouldn't have assumed that just by a little petting he'd be forgiven. hell i wouldn't trust a person touching me after wiping me. it's back to square 1

The kid has a backpack. Certain types of food don’t spoil fast. Crackers, bread, peanuts, etc all taje a while to spoil.
