Today I am going to teach you guys how to make
BHUNA GOSHT (mutton /goat) . This recipe has been in my family for over 80 years & I have cooked it for 1000’s of my clients for my catering company .
It’s a simple recipe with some awesome old school tricks to make your dish a success #basantstyle !!!
INGREDIENTS:-
6LBS MUTTON / GOAT
1 1/2 Cup OIL
1 TBL SPN Salt
1 TBL SPN Red Chili
1 TBL SPN Coriander
2 TBL SPN Garlic Ginger Paste
1 TSP Turmeric
1 TBL SPN Dry METHI (optional)
1 CUP Yogurt (whipped)
3 Onions (chopped)
7 MED Tomatoes (chopped)
GARNISH:-
1.Bunch Cilantro (washed & chopped)
2.Ginger (thin sliced)
3.Green Chilies (chopped)
4.Raw Onions (thin sliced)
5.Lemons (sliced)
IMPORTANT TIPS:-
1.After all the ingredients r in cover the pot,
turn the heat down to medium & cook for at least 45 mins
or till the meat is tender while stirring every 5 to 10 mins.
Once meat is tender uncover & sauté on high heat till
masala is tight.
2.If you want to have a little extra gravy add 1 glass water & cook it down .
3.Once recipe is complete & oil separates from the masala
you can drain it as shown in the video .
