I think what gets lost in this conversation is that Israel actively makes Jews less safe, and not just stochastically. Israel has a long, long, LONG history of genocidal behavior against the Mizrahi Jews. Hundreds of Mizrahi babies were stolen from their parents, their mothers told they were dead, and then adopted out to Ashkenazi families. However, if it's meant to describe the feeling of 'unique victimhood', that I've encountered some Jewish people falling into what I'd describe as the trap of believing - I'd suggest to seek counselling? There are Jewish speakers, online, who talk about having been through counselling, to process the inherited trauma that they still feel. I'll look for the name of the person, whose videos I'm recalling and I'll add it, here. As I see it, it's really not a good idea to fall into the belief that a person belongs to a "special" group, whom God loves, apparently more than God loves anyone else and that the 'rest of the world' is "different, or inferior" and "against" that group. I think that such beliefs can put up a wall, that might antagonise those "others" and thus, precipitate the feeling of 'separateness' and victimhood. That then can become a repeated circle of negative beliefs? As far as I've encountered, God actually chose all people and tells everyone that they're special, no matter their religion (or no religion). If someone doesn't believe in God (which isn't the same as simply not following a religion), I don't personally feel that a lack of belief matters, as long as a person has concern for others and their human rights. Some of the most humanitarianly focused people that I've met don't actually believe in God. It's important, for ALL our wellbeing, not to see people of one's own religion as "people" and "everyone else" as "different, or lesser". More than one religion has words (usually not kindly meant) for "unbelievers". Fortunately, in the majority of countries, in this era, many people have dropped that intolerance and in my opinion, it can only be a good thing, for everyone to understand that we are part of the same human race.

It is scary how easy it is for anyone to join the IDF and get into Gaza with them. There are Americans on tourist visas who have killed Gazans and then returned back here. You may search this. Other countries have soldiers as well there. Some places are arresting the IDF volunteers for war crimes when they return to their homes, but other places aren't. It seems many people find it fun to kill captive people inside a trapped space in cruel ways without interference nor oversight.
