I love this song and it's because of this song that I am now listening to there older stuff. They might be old hat in Scotland but this is there first US release and there getting some airplay as a result of it being more radio friendly. If I had not heard this song I would have missed out on a great band. Keep rockin Biffy. Any old way is fine by me.

This is the best song I've heard in a very long time....I actually thought it was Foo Fighters originally...it's got a very early 2000's vibe about it and that is a beautiful thing...it restores faith that that kind of music can still be made now...the video aswell shows they aren't afraid to be edgy...haven't seen that in awhile either..

My dad and mum introduced me to Biffy when I was four and I used to watch all the music videos on the tv with my brother. I stopped listening to them for a while until this album came out and I fell back in love. Sometimes I’ll remember the music videos but forget the song that goes with it

Everyone who is listening to this and thinking 'What the fuck happened to Biffy' need to have a reality check. Yes, we all loved the classics off of Blackened Sky and the weird, angular music that followed in the two albums after but that was over 12 years ago... Like it or not, Biffy are now a popular band, who are not afraid to play more popular music. Good on them for it too, starting all over and doing what they want to do. I'm not saying listening to songs like Small Wishes or People particularly enthralls me but it is ten times better than putting out an album with the same darkness or anger felt by the band when they were getting over the loss of close family and friends. This song is fun and it is catchy, almost to the point it sounds like a cover of a Beach Boys song. If it's not your cup of tea, go and listen to On A Bang or In The Name of The Wee Man, or the many other fucking anthems they've released.

Product? This is music, not some toothpaste you bought at your local shop. Biffy aren't catering to an audience, they're doing the music they like and if it doesn't suit you fine. But you can't tell them which creative direction to take. Do you want to stay in the comfort of the same old style or do you want to hear new things? It's much more interesting to have new melodies come out from this talented band and seeing how well they're selling the album, I don't think they're gonna look back anytime soon.

Why are people getting so butthurt over criticism? There's nothing I'd hate more than to mindlessly worship everything an artist releases. If I think it's bad, I'm going to say something. Personally, I don't feel like they're making music they enjoy, because to me it sounds forced. I could be wrong, but I'm only judging based on what I'm hearing. If you like Ellipsis, then cool. If you don't, cool.

It's fine to not like their album but to say it's bad because it doesn't sound like what they did before is stupid and just means you're not ready to get out of your comfort zone. Yes, they've changed, not for the worse for the better, if you have heard old school Biffy (inc. eps, demos etc) and listened to them from the start you will appreciate all the different tracks and styles of music they have produced. Biffy are fuckin' rocking it as always. Mon the fuckin' Biff!
