Would be so much easier to just remove and replace that fender. Get that fender for $100 on Ebay. $600-750 repair.

Yes but then again. Who wants an aftermarket fender, lose factory paint (paint won’t match perfectly) and let their vehicle drop 25% of the resale vehicle?

OK here's the deal. For high end cars, yes a replacement fender would somewhat devalue the car. But the kinds of cars I work on no one would notice, or care for that matter. For a 15 year old Ford no one would shiv a git! I'm just fixin up older beaters to sell at a reasonable price. A $50,000 Tesla is another story altogether. That kind of a car is out of my league anyway. But I appreciate the opportunity to learn something new!
