Late 80’s roller 302 factory specs and heads.
Cam: Lunati (20350710) summit part number
Crane Push rods: (BBLV-36625-16)
Crane rocker arm set: (15385-16)
Crane guide plate conversion kit: (36655-16)
This was a fun build For this 1967 Ford Mustang we also put forged pistons in it for future upgrades.

I ran dirt tracks for a decade... I used a ski boat cam set up for 2 4 barrels and tunnel ram.... 312 duration with 109° lobe separation...it only had .432 lift.... I put 1.65 ratio rocker arms on the intake only, which made the intake lift .452 (it help coming out of the corners). Torque bets horsepower everytime..... p.s....I ran a strip dominator intake with a 500 cfm Holley 2 barrel ..track rules.

Not too shabby...i suggest a brake upgrade too...your gonna need it! I went with the 711 cam in mine with Trickflow 170 heads and Holley Sniper EFI, 2800 converter and a 3.73 locker, my shitz is a beast out of the hole!...I run the Voodoo In everything!

C’mon man, that’s a baby cam! It’s listed as “good H.O. replacement”. 211/219* @.050” and a 112* LSA is super tame. It should be a great driver with stock heads though.

I got the same cam in my 302. U use a wideband O2 sensor for tuning? Out of the box my 600cfm Eddy had her idling at like 20:1 AFR. (Sounds kinda like yours idling) Once I richened my idle mixture up to about a 13:1 according to my AFR meter she really started rocking.

Finally...., Not many of us around anymore that doesn't tune blindly. You can't guess it. knowing how to read, interpret and adjust AFRs at idle , part throttle and wide open throttle is one of the most important procedures that would leave alot of power on the table, Knowledge that's quickly being forgot.
