For anyone who doubts how inexpensively you source, I hit two auctions this past weekend. At the first auction, I picked up a big blue tote and a cardboard box full of 78s, plus 3 albums full of 78s for $5 total. One of the albums is military, a whole training course put out by the Signal Corps. There were also a bunch of 33 1/3 records tossed in. I've barely glanced at them but I did notice a signed Bing Crosby White Christmas album. The second auction I attended had two boxes of 78's. I got them all (and a box of glassware that I gave to another dealer) for the whopping total of $1. I did pay up for some paper at the second auction, but I think there will be a huge return on my money. Also got some great buttons, some telegraph keys and manuals, car and truck manuals, and a ton of advertising. Going to be a busy winter getting this stuff listed.

I really love your flea market vids! I actually found an 1841 French book of hand colored maps at the flea market last weekend. Thanks to your previous videos, I scooped it up for $5 and plan on selling the maps individually. Sincerely appreciate all the info you share!

Thank you Don for your informative, funny, entertaining and educational videos. I walked into my first rummage sale recently and was overwhelmed by the quantity of things kind of hard to focus but I did eventually and picked up a couple items but I'm sure I missed a bunch always so much to learn. But most of all I really enjoyed the interactions with the sellers I love chatting making small talk and the whole environment the smell of old things I really love that. Thank you so much again from California

It's funny Don because I just happened to have watched the map video BEFORE I watched this one. I was thinking omg there's some of the maps he was talking about. Then you started mentioning the map video in this one. Anyway, great score on those maps... what a deal. Definitely on my BOLO list. Thanks for everything as usual.

I've been a vendor at flea markets for decades and with each passing year it gets progressively worse. I used to average $350 a day now lucky to make $50. There are a lot of reasons why it got worse which is too lengthy to go into. Everyone sells all their good stuff on the internet and they bring all their junk to flea markets. And its harder to get good deals because everyone looks up stuff on ebay on their smart phones. Fyi, vinyl records are a hot item and you ignored a crate full that looked to be in VG condition and yiu aren't ignoring other good stuff in the video. But its nice to see videos about flea markets. Keep up the good work. There's hardly no one at that indoor flea market and you have very little competition and you can get things cheaper because vendors are desperate for sales.

1776 continental dollar is either a copy, which are popular, or real. If real, you have a million dollars. The Thaler was minted for many years with the same year, so may not be worth much. Those maps are awesome.

It's a real one. They don't all sell that high. They made them in Pewter, Copper, and silver. We found the most common in pewter. It may be a variety though, which could be worth a lot. I've had repros, and this is not one. The Thaler is counter stamped, and can be dated, by that. We're taking them to a coin shop, and will have them checked out for sure. But I'm pretty sure on these both being good.

Is that a flea market that is open every weekend? The flea markets around me are pretty much outdoors. Do you see a lot of those sellers regularly at that flea market? After watching your vids, I feel at least a little more confident at flea markets. I wish I had a tenth the knowledge that you have when it comes to antique items. Thank you for sharing another great video. By the way, your son dresses like I did when I was his age. Love the red plaid pants and the combat boots.

kinda why i don't like going to flea market's. you ask the seller how much and he has to give you a history lesson. and tell about how valuable everything he owns is. I guess i'm not very patient. But everytime a guy does that to me i usually miss a sale down the isle. So get out of my way wierdo!!!
