To the *incredible person* that's seeing this, I wish you all the best in life❤ don't over blame yourself, accept things and go forward. Don't let others define what “success” is for you. Get up, learn the skills needed and get after it, all the keys to a happy life is in your hands. Keep pushing.

THANK YOU!! My circadian rhythm since I was a baby has been active 2:00pm to 2:00am sleep 2a m to 10am. I choose Musical Theatre than owning business where that schedule was possible. I had family members that shared this same biorhythm and again choosing jobs like Dr. Or Nurse 3 to 11 shift. Restaurant that is open 4 to 11. So many online careers. My Nephew brokers organic foods across the world making this perfect. Writers or Live Theatre, Musical Theatre. The tough years were elementary and middle school when your boxed into cookie cutter schedule. Finally my Parents realized allowing me to pursue Dance and finish academics by Tutor. I excelled once I was able to embrace my natural energy. I LOVE Midnight to 2a m. My most creative introspective energy and the world is so quiet & peaceful. Ironically I had a relationship with a Professor who lived 1/2 the globe away & I was able to be awake to kiss him goodnight.💝

I just came up with this thought while writing my ideas and I hope someone may find this helpful. Discipline is often motivation in disguise. You're adding value to your negative thoughts and not giving yourself the permission to add value to the positive thoughts you have that are aimed toward serving yourself. I also learned on the way to this video just to write this thought down was that learning to appreciate and love the process to get yourself to the right setting to express your idea is very important for your overall mental health because you are allowing yourself to appreciate the obstacles and inconveniences(especially the small ones) by understanding that they are here to help build momentum to the service you are giving. Adding value to my positive thoughts and allowing myself to be patient and go easy on myself on my failures has eased so much pain in my head that I am now feeling submissive to the environment and I noticed that my ego doesn't like it so now I am focused on giving myself permission to be here and be clear which is why I started this journey in the first place. Now it's time to keep going and giving that "keep going" mentality the love and trust it deserves even though I haven't seen any other reason externally to keep working and trying hard yet because it's who I am and I need to have faith that one day in this world I will meet the right people who think like me.

1:02:44 we change our role with our procrastinating mind ; when we do things that less important or watch any show or any thing that takes you away from your goal and we say to our mind lets go and study or do some work and mind says just few more mins and we sit down and enjoy that thing but when we do work or do things that take us near to our purpose we have to behave like our procrastinating mind and say to mind just few more mins. It might sound like tit for tat situation but is a great idea

I make to do lists every day. No clue how I’d know which was considered “logical” vs “creative”. That just adds to the stress of getting it done, now I’ve gotta sort the list?!?

Try being a supervisor at an airline. Having to talk to three people at the same time. Then come to me. Especially when minutes come into play. We are super heroes or whatever you call it. I’ve had two calls at once and talked to someone face to face multiple times. Yet got it done.

This is a stupid title but there are some good notes in the video. At the end of the day, remember that watching videos on how to stop procrastinating is just another form of procrastinating. For most people, you already know what you need to be doing right now. So do it. Good luck.

These techniques are applicable to someone who is working for themselves or just for personal goals. It isn't useful when working in big companies where you have your certain piece of responsibility and duty. You just HAVE TO do something when required in a required way. You cannot ignore phone calls, emails or new tasks just because you have decided now is your creative time and no logical tasks or people should intervene. When working in a company that actually produces something essential to human kind nowadays and not just selling ideas, you have to adapt and you cannot follow your own rule or process. And yes, some of us thrive in that kind of environment and we want to add up to the company value and society in general. It seems to me like everyone today wants to record podcasts and videos about how to work, without actually having to work. A shocking disclaimer: not everyone wants to have its own business. Some people really like companies they're working in, myself included.

Just one minute in but have to disagree. Effectiveness means you do stuff that has effect- you make things happen. Efficiency means you are using your resources in a way that you make the same things happen in a way that you spend low / least amount of yourresources to achieve that, so you have more resources left in comparison to just being effective. Nonetheless I’m sure the video is great and will watch later when I have time. Don’t want to procrastinate my stuff by watching 90 min now 😅

HI @jayshettypodcast5080 my job involve lots of brainstorming and creativity as a consultant. 2 issues - I work alone no team mates. Reading is one way to gain knowledge however no interaction to exchange thoughts. Many said to go out networking but that isn't truly effective to address a certain topic. What would be your advice? Thank you.
