@@jondrew55 The JL softtop is definitely a quantum leap because now not only I need to take the rear piece off to fold down the top, I also need to keep it and the two rear quarter panels at home when I want to take the top down, because of the stiff support structure built-in to the removable soft panels. So the pieces better have quantum entanglement when it suddenly gets cold or rains. Hope you're getting paid enough by Jeep for saying things like you did.

@darthnater9819 Жыл бұрын
Don’t hold your breath, to do that would require major redesign of the engine. Besides pairing a V6 with the the system defeats its purpose. 4xe is supposed to improve the wrangler’s efficiency. The 3.6 is not as efficient as the 2.0. If you want more cylinders, the newer 3.0 TT I6 “Hurricane” engine may come to the wrangler in a few years and since it has the same architecture as the 2.0 it could be paired to the 4xe hybrid system. However it may require a full new generation to squeeze it in the engine bay. And considering they are just now refreshing the wrangler expect at least 3-4 model years before that comes around I would say.
@jeffk464 Жыл бұрын
never, eventually the 3.6 will probably go away. My guess is eventually you will only have the 2.0T, the 4xe, and the 3.0T Hurricane. I think if that Hurricane proves to be reliable it will be an awesome engine. PS don't quote me but I think rumors are that the 2.0T is turning out to be reliable.

Ford Bronco was the best t hing that happend to Jeep. Jeep finally woke up and started modernizing the Wrangler. Couple things I wish they'd do different: 1) 35" wheels from the factory, 2) Air compressor in almost all models 3) Scree in the rear headrest, 4) Front and Rear parking sensors on almost all models, 5) Heated and Cooled seats, front and rear, 6) Cloth covered ceiling, or at least paint it black, 7) Better Insulation and sount proff, 8) Make the rear door a little longer, thus the whole wrangler a bit longer, by like 6" so that it's possible for a full size person to get in and out, 9) Make all doors like Ford Bronco, so they become half doors if you roll the window down. No reason people should buy half doors just to have half doors, 10) A 2" lift on all models, with better suspension. Additionally I would say please please please improve quality of interior and exterior. Quality suffers like crazy. This vehicle can be one of the most desirable if they just improve quality. Or lover the price by at least 25%
