The D23 Brazil expo is a weird one, but I'm not expecting much from that. Maybe something but probably just a fan outreach to Latin America region. I think you might be right about Tomorrowland/Autopia getting SOMETHING. Probably a refresh of sorts at least. Overall, great video, really enjoyed it! Keep up the good work Dallin :)

The inside out idea…I cried just at you talking about it. That’s genius!!!! Mental health/emotional mindfulness is an amazing thing to be able to teach kids about, and it’s one of the reasons I am so happy movies like Inside Out and the sequel exist. If there could be a physical and immersive way to bring these lessons to life, I’m all for it

Ahhh...Country Bear Jamboree at Disneyland - it brings back so many memories. Fully animatronic Country Bears (now replaced with static maquettes that spin on turntables while painted plywood doors swing out of the way of your 1940's tech buggy lurching on a track), Fully animatronic America Sings (now replaced by nothing), Captain EO or Honey I shrunk the Audience in 3d (now replaced by nothing), People Mover (now replaced by nothing), Lagoon Boats (now replaced by nothing), Skyway Gondolas from Tomorrowland to Fantasyland (now replaced with nothing), Animatronic filled Mission to Mars(now replaced by the world's worst pizza place). Hey, maybe they can "re-theme" the churro cart to "People Mover Churros".

Here’s my idea: a generally “health” themed land. Inside out dark ride would be the e ticket and you could throw in the Happy ride with Baymax from Tokyo because we could always use more flat rides. So we have inside out with mental health and Baymax with physical health. This land could either replace imagination pavilion or the play pavilion

If Disney wanted to pack a cruise ship, they would make a full, Haunted Mansion themed cruise. Haunted passageways, a haunted (faux) engine room, Mansion themed cabins and staterooms, murder mystery games, themed escape rooms, creepy creaks and groans, GHOSTS, come on. It would sell. Maybe tie it in with POTC. You buried your Hopes and Dreams in soil, with a snow shovel? Was that some sort of allegory? I would have exactly zero complaints if Disneyland brought back rocket rods, but wasn't that really kind of a precursor to Test Track? The ride was great, but now it would just be repetitive. Bring back the People Mover. While they're at it, bring back M̶a̶k̶e̶o̶u̶t̶ ̶M̶o̶n̶s̶a̶n̶t̶o̶..I mean Adventure Thru Inner Space.

To fix DCA's Hollywood Land, give the park "gravitas," Disney history, and classic Disney fantasy, I would like them to build a replica of Disney's beautiful 1930's Hyperion Studio which would be the entry for a Seven Dwarfs Mine ride. This is the studio where this classic first full-length animated feature film was made, and fits the Hollywood and Buena Vista St. themes perfectly. The queue would go past animator's desks, through Ink & Paint, Camera Dept....a queue that is a loving tribute to Disney animation, where it all began. You would go into the dimly lit Screening Room with sketch-test versions of Snow White playing on the screen and follow switchbacks down toward the screen/stage, where you board the ride vehicles.

Also...this would be an indoor version of the ride within a show building, with controlled lighting. It would have happy fairy tale feeling at the beginning with Snow White and Dwarf's cottage and then go on wild mine ride and lead to lightning, rainstorm and wind of climax scene of Evil Queen. The final scene with animatronics would "magically" transform back into large animator's sketch using projection technique as you exit back into the studio to disembark.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. I know Journey into Imagination is not a priority and part of me thinks that's for the best. But I really would like to see plans for a Refreshed Journey into Imagination. I know it isn't going to happen and if it does it has a near 100 percent chance to go wrong. But part of me wonders and wants to see what Imagineers would cook up for a new ride as long as it brings back some of the heart of the 1983 ride. :( For a serious prediction. I would not be surprised if they announced some of the Haunted Mansion updates to test the waters before the attraction reopens as its original form after Holiday is done playing. Just tease some new things like the Bride and hopefully no Hitchhiking Ghost changes. Please.

Looking at the poster with all of the icons for the panel, Epcot and Disney Sea are missing out of the icons. Also Big Thunder Mountain and Cinderella Castle are present, the only icons from the same park, also assuming Beyond Big Thunder will be a big section of the announcements. The Chinese Theater also brings speculation as to what kind of DHS announcement will be made (hopefully not just mentioning The Little Mermaid show).

I actually have a couple predictions of my own: Figment getting an overhaul seems more and more likely by the day. Considering that attraction is literally falling apart, something tells me that an overhaul for that ride could realistically be announced this D23. Disney’s obviously been planning SOMETHING, so my guess is that we’ll hear something about it, if not at this D23, at either the Destination D23 event next year, or D23 Expo proper in 2026. Also, regarding WDW, that Pirates of the Caribbean bar that’s in the plans will likely get a proper announcement. Right now, it seems likely to go where Tortuga Tavern is, but it’s hard to say for certain. I also think we could very well hear something about Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln at Disneyland. Rumor’s been going around about the introduction of a Walt Disney animatronic, so it seems likely we may hear about that. Also, I feel like there’s bound to be an announcement regarding Beyond Big Thunder, thanks in part due to Big Thunder Mountain being prominently featured on this year’s poster.

I think an inside out attraction based off of mental health would be an amazing idea actually. As much as I’m not a fan of Disney IP in Epcot I actually think that would make the most sense to have an inside out attraction there.

I doubt that they will do this for the bbq jamboree at DL but I would love if they made it like Chuck E Cheese esque where you can eat and have the animatronics be there and perform every so often…. I know they just went through the effort of turning the old innoventions/America sings/carousel of progress upper floor into a DVC lounge but I would so badly want SOMETHING to be done with that space. I will say though that the inside of the lounge is very nice when it comes to throwbacks to old Tomorrowland including there being an homage to the Mary Blair mural? As far as Inside Out at Epcot, I think they should make a Cranium command-inspired show, but put it in the Magic Eye Theater instead of Wonders of Life. That way it could be in the imagination pavilion and would potentially complement a redone JOI with Figment. Then the Wonders of Life could be something completely new.

I think what Disney should do is bring in the Country Bears to the Hungry Bear seating area and have them play like Sunny Eclipse at Magic Kingdom. Maybe Hungry Bear always has a bunch of empty seats toward the back of the seating area away from the kitchen. I think that would be a great place to put a stage

I disagree about the Peoplemover. Especially if Autopia is closing for a re-theme to go along with the electric conversion, that's the perfect time to work on the PM track out in that area (and maybe the themes of the rides work more closely together?). They don't have to close much of the land at all to fix the PM track, probably just the Astro Orbitor and maybe choking that TL entrance. The indoor portions could absolutely be worked on while those rides still operate (just maybe outside park hours for things like installing new track). They could even convert the Innoventions building into the new hub for the ride and have a fully indoor queue. Shuttering that building to work on that wouldn't affect anything. Also I believe it would be bringing WDW's version over here with its superior, linear induction system. Disney does have motivation to bring this attraction back as it would give them another long, high capacity ride in the land to help water down wait times a bit. The ride and indoor queue would be a great respite during the hot summer/fall months and would finally use a large chunk of the land that has been sitting mostly dormant for 2 decades. Also I think we're going to hear a lot more about Disneyland Forward than you realize. We'll likely get the new parking structure and east gate announcement to prepare for all the stuff coming. I know a parking structure isn't all that exciting, but that's why it'll be coupled with their first plans for everything else (probably including Avatar).

Sadly the PeopleMover needs way more work than that. Also all the new safety regulations and requirements would make any kind of return almost nightmarishly expensive and take up a ton of space, way more money and space than disney wants to spend on this. Like off hand said. there is 0 motivation for disney to bring it back right now.

@@robertnove528 i know how much it needs; it's no different than a new ride. The motivation is there: to not waste a large amount of attraction space in the land (mainly the Innoventions building) and provide a large capacity ride that people like to alleviate crowded walkways. They absolutely have the space already to do it and they've already committed money to improving the parks. It's just a matter of timing, especially with the Disneyland Forward expansions coming.

@@techguypaul it’s not just a simple flip on the switch and the ride is back. They would have to rebuild most of it. The track needs a ton of work and reinforcements. Not to mention the laundry list of safety requirements that would need to be added. The old ride didn’t need them as it was built before those laws were passed and it was grandfathered in. But now since this would be all new those would need to be factored in. Including new vehicles with safety glass or inclosed vehicles so people can’t reach arms out. Also all the safety railings and new escape stairs would need to be added which not only would take up more walkway space but also look really unsightly and make the ride look bulky and in the way Also all the windows that used to provide interior views of the rides have now all been covered up. And no, it’s not just a matter of uncovering them. As an example: Buzz Lightyear Astro blasters. When they installed that ride they brought in a new ceiling and walls to make the load area look smaller. Well now those windows are halfway between the fake ceiling and walls. They would need to redo all that to make the windows appear. And that’s just for one ride! As you can see it would not only affect the people mover track but also all surrounding areas. Trust me. It would take millions and millions of dollars and at the end of the day. As offhand said in Disneys mind it’s just not work it without a major IP to drive the need for the ride. And most IPs presently have existence in the park elsewhere. Also using the innoventions building as a queue makes no sense. A people mover wouldn’t need that much space for a line. It’s a walk on. Also would you really want the people mover back? Nostalgia is a very powerful emotion but at times I think it can mislead. I love the people mover but I think outside of the diehards it would be a hard sell for people. And I think most of us would get off the ride and say “that isn’t quite how I remember.” Plus bringing it back to me is kind of lazy on Disneys part. Essentially saying “we give up.” Always be moving forward.

The Yeti is never going to be fixed. The permits are confirmed to be for the DVC lounge upstairs in the old image works area. The area is already being worked on and the temporary DVC lounge is now in the Odyssey building.

I definitely think that the Autopia in Disneyland, Avatar for DCA, and perhaps some further Disneyland Forward stuff will be announced for Disneyland. I’d love to hear about a Tomorrowland redo (including Rocket Rods Refurbishment), but not so sure about that. For WDW, I think we’re likely to get an announcement about Tropical Americas… but that’s it for sure? I’m hoping for a Figment update (that is such a home run), or an Inside Out Wonders of Life refurbishment. Even a Spaceship Earth refurb update perhaps. Some more announcement for DHS with the Animation Courtyard area would be cool too. And I’m not as enthusiastic as some people about Beyond BTM, but it’d be good to know what they’re planning. I’ve also heard about a Lion King ride for AK, and that would be an interesting addition. But it’s kind of wild to say that everything else for Disney World is just a bit up in the air.

A long shot, but I would like some announcement on the Star Wars hotel. That it is open to book any number of days. The side attractions would be an extra cost. Maybe one is free if you book so many days. Buses would take guests to and from some park. Some meet and greet with star war characters. Not sure what they would do about food. Some cafeteria. Opens in April 2025, just before May the 4th.
