Worst upset I have ever seen was Valponi winning the Breeders Cup Classic against a stellar field. Longest shot on the board.

@@Empireofracing2023 Really?? Then what is? And if not, it sure ranks #1 at the Belmont. Granted the Bid was injured...but on that day, the racing world did a double take.

@@david1044 well Jim Dandy winning the 1930 Travers at 100-1 is a much bigger upset I would say though that The Bid losing is a big upset and one of the biggest at Belmont its not the biggest in all of racing

@@Empireofracing2023 Agreed, that is a Worthy one. But Gallant Fox was certainly no Spectacular Bid. He wasn't to become known as "The greatest horse to ever look through a bridle" for nothing. He also revenged his loss by 17 lengths early the following year. But Yes, Jim Dandy is a good choice. Still this video was a Belmont edition.
