Filmed in the third week of January, 2021. Well before anyone knew what the displacement of either the 58?/5 or 59?/2 was.
I like to get the "old gurl" (181/281XP) out in the wilds occasionally. I don't have many "couch queens" in all reality. Sans a few 461s in boxes & a 5ooi for testing, everything is "used".
We looked around in this "strip". A few boys grew up around there. Not running a good chain. And we can hear the chatter. +, I had tweak my "grind" (teeth angles) from the week before. I'm not really sure it was for the better...
At ~ the 7 minute we see "dad" ante up for some of the "fun festivities" that the "youngins" are going to have. There had been some bad weather in the preceding weeks/months and the boys were going biking. It had warmed up nicely from the morning.
~ 10:50 we see some wedges going in the backcut. Over the years we have blown a few hydraulic hoses.
13:43 we can see/hear the chatter. Did I mention kids lived near by???
~ 15:00 we noticed that the 59? was a little hard to start. It was below freezing that morning. The thing was lean for sure. I did mention the 2nd generation fuel mapping. I had thought this it was the case based on the convo with the shop personnel that provide the saw.
At ~ 16:10 I'm throttling up checking for temp & listening.
16:25 has the throttle blasting a bit to see how it behaves. I had ran it dry right before starting. Prototype testing,,, no mercy!!!
16:38 noticing the "chain fling" off the bar as we work on a hard limb. One of the key notes as to why I'm heard raving about the power of the saw. As far as stockers go anyway.
17:45 we see the saw trying to escape for duty, lol.
~ 22:20 pointing out the missed stump on the right.
Near 25 minutes Gary is giving me a "compliment" about how that's the only one I saved to the tassel.
The adults stayed & worked. We did have fun. And who can complain about the weather!
At the time of your viewing this, I may, or may not, be immediately available for custom saw modifications. I am booked out several months regularly. Sometimes I'm out in the bush - making the world a safer place, one stump at a time.
If you are interested in having a saw zipped, please shoot me an email. That is the best, first point of contact.
I fairly busy and am routinely behind so it may take while for me to respond.
