The secrecy around gear is the reason it died out. Novice and experience lifters always saw it as a cheap trick in reality its eliminating variables that hinder your raw lifts. The misinformed think you will instantly had 100-300 lbs over your raw. if you hop in loose gear you might see 60lbs increase over your raw simply from material resistance (thats if your a experienced lifter. A novice would lose poundage. Shirts add speed, keep optimal form and (what it was invented for) is a great safety net. I use to be so against gear...then i started getting older. Want longevity AND hit your potential that might be hindered do to anatomy? get into gear!

@@BigBenchas amazing video bro ..do keep up the good work👍 , just one question , whenever I bench press in my super katana I notice after a few sessions my biceps and forearm feel as if someone beat them with a sledgehammer ..they hurt and have this dead feeling where I can't press anymore without them hurting like hell...any advice on where I'm going wrong ? Oh if it helps , the shirt is not that tight

Its coming again/ geared lifting. Mostly thru bandshirts ( F8, Overkill & also mighty Inzer ). So whats your opinion on bandshirts? Ever tried the Forell F8 or the Overkill Reaoer!

How do you like that super RAM? Is it a good Tool or better one then a slingshot to get a feeling for equipped benching?
@BigBenchas3 жыл бұрын
Definitely more conducive to an equipped bencher than is a slingshot!

I think this easiest to learn with a declined bench, you don't have to move the bar as much but you understand where the bar needs to be. Plus it engages lats better than a flat. I changed to a more power lifting bench in the last 3 months and have added 100lbs to my press! I have a weak chest, so whats doing all the work on that movement? Power lifters are so much fun!

That’s crazy. I believe it though. I recently watched the xpo completion from a few months ago. The weird thing was most of they’re deadlifts were not good. This is supposed to be the top guys and they’re we’re a lot of 500 and 600lbs deadlifts. I could hardly believe it. They’d squat 900 in gear but then on the deadlift where the suit doesn’t help much their true strength came out. It was weird to watch.

I can bench press a couple of hundred pounds more when my spotters give me a bit of help. I can now bench 600lbs relatively easily now with the help of four spotters lifting a little between them. Mint. I’m really strong now with help.
