Fortunately this video was suggested to me by YT, and I'm stoked to say I'm a new subscriber. Several years ago, we used to leave VA Beach at 4:30am, and spent several mornings checking every spot down to Buxton, only to end up back near Roadanthe somewhere. That riding around could workout once in a while, but usually only cost me some good waves, or another hour of sleep. Definitely some of the most enjoyable footage I've watched in a while. Can't wait to spend my Christmas vacation checking your other stuff from this Fall. Merry Christmas.

One of the best videos I've seen Ina while. U see the North Shore vids all the time but it's absolutely amazing this place is 2 hrs drive from home...but...I think me and the fam are packing up and moving to Hatteras ...Buxton has always been home away from home but seeing these waves and the guys fishing in pounding surf I'm ready to commit...lived in nags head for 6 years but there's something magical about that cove in Buxton....shout out room 622 at the Lighthouse View Motel for always holding it down✌️🤙💪. PS. Bret ur style and form is by far one of the best I've ever seen. U make it look sooo easy and that's when u kno u were born to surf🤙
