Loved your frog spotted skills, how about one on watching fish? Like the best place to see a leaping salmon.

Us natives to Kent/East Sussex borders call the Marsh Frog "Hungarian Singing Frogs" ... As a kid I'd cycle past the actual house in the Isle of Oxney where the original imported frogs from Hungary were introduced. Big grass snakes down there, feasting on the introduced Marsh frogs.

I found some Amercan bullfrog tadpoles in a pond connected to the Avon canal. They were about 2-3 times as big as a regular common frog and were muddy brown with little eyes. I've tried looking for more but have had no luck

Fantastic video. Not a species I have had the pleasure to see. Sadly in the south east wales area common frogs are pretty much a thing of the past, toads are also basically a relic compared to what they were. I'm 34 years old and when I was a lad, in the summer especially if we had had some rain, if I put the patio light on there would be 20 or 30 frogs and toads all just milling around on the patio. We didn't have a pond and our garden was pretty much walled in, and we lived in a residential area. Never ever see them in my area any more......also just to check that was frogging you said you enjoyed at the end wasn't it?? 😂

Apparently somewhere in the UK we also have breeding Moor frogs, which are quite interesting as the males turn bright blue in the mating season. I would like to know where they are living and whether they are at a suitable location or just some roadside ditch. Marsh, Moor and Pool frogs were once native species and only the Pool frogs have survived (boosted by some Scandinavian imports) here in Norfolk. I was wondering if you could track down the Moor frogs and see if they belong to a surviving native population or if they are also reintroductions.
