Fun fact: for 20 years, Eddie thought that cameraman was really angry with him for this, but it turns out that he wasn't at all. He was just yelling at the guys on the ground to jump on the other end so that the rig wouldn't go down due to the extra weight, and then again to get off so that when Eddie jumped, the cameraman wouldn't shoot straight up in the air.

@dutchdiamondback5 жыл бұрын
It was more saving his and Eddie's ass instead of coolness. The boom couldn't carry the weight of both the cameraman, camera and Eddie. The whole thing could have collapsed at any time. Last year Eddie recalled the whole incident when he was back in Holland. He even met up with the cameraman. End he told about it during his concert. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppbRZn2ihs-BoMk

Saw them in Hartford Connecticut in 96.. everybody was rushing the stage, breaking through the barriers.. They sprayed pepper spray all over everybody! FUCK NO!! I didn't leave!! I JUST GOT A LITTLE BIT CLOSER!! I WAS IN THE SEATS ANYWAY, IT WAS GENERAL ADMISSION BEHIND US!! My son is 10, he loves Pearl Jam!! And it will be the first concert I ever bring him to!
