In your and others opinions who follow you would it be worth using a trad pole for most work on domestic properties instead of the use of ladders ??

Using a trad pole on regular maintenance cleans is ok (depending on the type of window and its location) but as a rule of thumb you can never beat a nose to glass finish when safe and accessible to use ladders. With time and experience you learn which types of jobs really need the ladder and which ones you can do a good job just using an extension pole. From a safety point of view if I'm in any doubt about where the ladder would be located and if it would be actually safe to go up, then I just default to extension pole.

@@TradMan I have probably 3 out of 60 customers with either leaded windows or a patern glass where I know I would never get a good clean without a ladder where as all others are plain glass . I'm not keen on pitching ladders over house canopies as I know the pitch is way too shallow . I'm quite new to window cleaning and it's a second employment so I can afford to take my time and concentrate more on results rather than speed . and all my customers prefer trad cleaning so I'm looking at purchasing the Unger teleplus .
