Hey there all you beautiful people and how are you all doing today? Great I hope. Today's videos pretty simple and I haven't done this in over three years so thought I would get rid of the empty spray cans that have been building up. I also re-melt last week's Nordic gold offcuts so 2 pieces to add to the stack today and I absolutely love both of them. Now sit back relax turn your mind off and enjoy today's video, and if you have the time be sure to check out any videos you have missed. But most importantly have a happy safe weekend and see you all next Friday😃👋🏻

Awesome video! From the small Nordic Gold cutoff melt to the trippy trip down the dust collection tube. I was a bit surprised by how big the aluminum bar was considering how thin the aluminum cans were. Your clown called in back-up I see! The melting shack is starting to look like one of my favorite movies - Killer Klowns from Outer Space! Take care and don't get eaten!

Sorry super star, from this moment forward you'll be hooked to the content. And when you have some time to relax you'll go watch old stuff. Like i was here before he had 500kg in the treasure room. This channel is going to be great, because the content is so simple yet nobody does exactly this. No i don't want to hear some obnoxious person talking throughout the whole video. Some talking okay. But this, this is exactly what ik here for. My guy here has good taste in beverages to.

Great job. That was a super clean bar. Glad you stamped it. I love that. The cans with the bladder is pretty clever... In production, you will typical fill the open mouth can with the product, whatever it might be... Then you drop in the valve, which has the metal top with the ring (and the plastic straw or stem) that goes down into the can... Then you would crimp that top on with a machine... Then it goes into gassing, which is the dangerous part, usually in a separate building at an aerosol factory, where the propellant is pushed into the can, backwards through the valve.... Propellant is all ozone safe now, but it IS flammable... Usually it's a propane/butane mix, under pressure... So inside the can, that propellant will be a liquid.... And that liquid will mix with your product liquid, but chemists usually figure that out.... So clearly, the chemists did NOT want the propellant to mix with the product... So they put it in a bladder, and use the pressure of the propellant, to push the product out of the bladder... Clever. I never saw that at our place, but we had heard of it.... Expensive. You can't gas through the valve, obviously, so you need a different more exotic way to gas the can, without disturbing the bladder full of product.... Neat to see that. If you're an aerosol nerd I guess.... So, for future reference, if you have an aerosol can, and it won't spray, assuming the tip is not clogged, it's probably out of gas. You can take your air compressor, Pull the tip off, and push compressed air back into the can. It will spray a little bit again... Probably get the last of the product out, if you really need just a little more....
@tedburnell5356 Жыл бұрын
The bladder system is referred to as a bag-on-valve technology. The bag is welded to the valve body, and is rolled up and taped into a cigar shape before being placed into the can. Then the can goes into crimping/gassing. . The can then goes to filling. The gas used is typically just compressed air as it doesn't touch the product inside the bag. The air pressure around the unwrapped bag is usually around 20 psi The product is filled down through and around the valve stem into the bag. As the fills, the tape tears and the bag expands to mostly fill the volume of the can, which squeezes the compressed air all the way up to 100 psi. The advantage is you get the same spray pattern no matter how the can is oriented. Also, like you noted, the product doesn't touch propellant, so no compatability issues. Also the spray out isn't flammable unless the product itself is. The drawback compared to a vapour pressur propellant is that the spray rate decreases as you empty the product and the air pressure outside the bag drops back to the original fill pressure.
