Love your stuff man. I really like the experience you have and that you keep your stuff so clean. I try to do the same. I’m also imparting it on my son. If nothing else he’s paying attention to what needs looked at, adjusting or fixing while we’re riding and addressing those things as we clean bikes afterwards. Last weekend we weren’t ready to go and had to miss riding Friday and only got Saturday and Sunday. He pointed out if we’d had our bikes sitting 100% we could have just left. I pointed out that he’s absolutely right, but I’m pushing 50 years old and I’d have tired out by Sunday anyway lol. Thanks for the content!

Is there a fix yet for the fuel pump pickup not reaching to the bottom of the tank?
@slaverace13 ай бұрын
Hello: It's difficult to fix something that is not broken. The fuel pickup is not a problem when the bike is used as the designers intended.

Jeff, as always your videos are amazing. This may be an unfair question but what changes would you make to your set up if you were riding mainly technical desert. I understand may be a bigger front tire etc. but is there anything else you would change? Appreciate it, sir!

Hello I would need to ride your trails to accurately answer your question but I’m guessing i wouldn’t change anything except possibly the front tire if there is a lot of sand.

Did you change/remap the ECU with the high compression head? If so, is it necessary?
@slaverace13 ай бұрын
Hello: I currently use the maps that come with the TSP ERM slavensracing.com/shop/ecu-reflash-module-erm-by-two-stroke-performance/. I also have 2 alternate maps that I'm testing and modifying but I can't say they are better, just different. The TSP maps are excellent and work well with the high comp head that I only use at high elevations, above 7000'. If you ride at lower elevations, the TSP medium insert is recommended.
@ebalzhiser3 ай бұрын
@@slaverace1 Ok. Slightly different question. Do you think the optional OEM map switch is worth it? Does it make that much of a difference? Similar to you, I live on the front range. I ride mostly west, 7,000’ or higher, mostly dry/damp decomposed granite, rocks and roots. I can’t imagine wanting anything other than the default “aggressive” setting.
@slaverace13 ай бұрын
@@ebalzhiser I have the switch and never use it. Always run the green map. You can also switch maps with the ERM.

Just curious about your spark arrestor choice ? Silencer looked stock in the video.
@slaverace1 Жыл бұрын
It is stock for now. I'm being rebellious because I totally disagree with spark arrestors. The motorcycle community gets unfair scrutiny from the feds and I'm fed up with their BS. We have to purchase offroad riding permits (in Colorado and many western states) ($25) yet hikers, mtn. bikers, Jeepers, equestrians do not. I pay that fee every year because those funds actually do go towards trail repairs, etc. but just show me one proven example of any dirt bike causing a forest fire from the exhaust. There are none to my knowledge. It's total BS!
