We always talk about the division in this country and about how we need to alleviate it, and Trump being president once again will only build on the divisiveness that was created during his first term. Trump is way to polarizing for what this country needs right now. And personally i would prefer an anti-woke, common sense type president, but Trump just isnt the guy to do it, this country will never be able to come together with Trump as president, thats just a pure fact. As someone who depends trump on the crimes (not a fan of him, but most of charges are bs) This is the only one that might be noteworthy. However, there are some issues with it. First, what evidence do they even have of him doing it? I think the details are kinda obscure, and I think everyone can admit from Russiagate, his opponents aren't above pulling stuff from thin air and making a story from it. Second, what exactly was the plan? I'm pretty sure if a group of everyday Republicans decided to act as electors, they would realize there's too many electors and it would be clear who the actual ones were. Maybe they would arrest them, but I feel the normal reaction would just kick them out because it's just stupid. I know Donald Trump isn't above doing stupid things but I have more than enough precedent to know usually when the media tells such outlandish stories that you can't believe (especially about trump) they're either not the whole story, exaggerated or taken out of context. Finally, I find this story difficult to process in general. At the end of 2020 early 2021, Donald Trump and his reaction was in the news every single day and night. His calls and corespondents were even leaked. Again, this story is shocking. Can you think of a single shocking news story involving trump that took more than a month to break, let alone 2 years about the 2020 election nonetheless. If you're wondering what my point is, I honestly don't know how to really describe it. It just looks suspicious. Again, it's not the first time the media has blown something that has no standing. More evidence, in the speech he specifically said, "make your voices heard loudly and peacefully" *Not sure if I want to defend this one, but I feel it's worth noting the context. He was calling to talk about voter fraud in Georgia. He came up with that number and was later like, "I'm sure we have way more votes than that. I just don't think it matters if we win by 2 votes or a half a million. I'm giving you the most conservative basis" So basically he said that just trying to prove a point. You can completely disagree and think he was stupid, but he wasn't telling him to commit fraud
