Very Roomy, Easy Towing 7×12 Cargo Trailer Conversion. Ingenious DIY Bed Design

For your portable AC UNIT, I installed a residential dryer vent (with flaps that close when not in use) and installed it appropriately the same height as the unit. There’s about a 2” “lip” that sits out from the inside wall. The AC vent hose fits it perfectly, no clamps needed. I also shortened the vent hose so the hot air had less travel distance BUT left it long enough so I can position the AC unit to blow in any direction. Contact me if you need pics of the set up. It works AND looks wonderful! Like the bed set up too, I did a horizontal full dive Murphy bed that works well in my 7x12 but I like your couch option !!! Gheezzz- might hafta consider that !😂

We loved Chase and Robin's cargo. That wood work was my fave. I told them a couple times how much I love it. We spent a nice bit of time with those two and really enjoyed their company. We hope to get together with them in Arkansas one day. The rendezvous is so nice for meeting new like minded people and making life long friends.

Awesome job. Loved the reclaimed wood concept. Lovely couple. I loved the way they both explained. The explanation about using wood from the burned barn was inspiring. It was like their personal Phoenix. What they managed to salvage and later create from those ashes. I’m glad the Mrs. Didn’t let this segment finish without explaining it. I bet if this couple wanted to start a little business building these they would probably have a nice steady demand. God bless these folks and that trailer. Well done.

They might have an emergency in the night portable toilet (I failed to ask about that), but for the most part, they use the campground facilities. If a person were to build a similar layout, there are a number of offerings from several manufacturers of portable toilets that could easily be incorporated in a build such as this.

Pete- I have the same type AC UNIT in my 7x12. I got it at Home Depot and Lowe’s also has them. Depending on what size your rig is would determine the cost but mine was about $350.00. BUT… you can use it in your home when not camping… so it was a perfect option for me.
