I love how these 2 greats are so intrigued by eachothers playing

I notice that quite a few Billy Strings and Molly Tuttle videos have lots of viewings but not many thumbs up. I think people are just so stunned they forget to like.

Coolest thing I've ever heard. Love the Dead's versions but this is wonderful.

Why? John was a great songwiter. This one came at a party with Judy Collins, Stephen Stills and Joni Mitchell. Wrote it in 20 minutes

Speechless. I knew Billy was a player, I discovered Cody today. Between them they're every bit as brilliant as Paco de Lucia and Al Di Meola.

Excellent comparison because he is the Bluegrass version of Al D and Paco..

This is a great acoustic bluegrass version but I'll take the Dead's electric versions over this any day. Nothing beats Jerry on Wolf, Tiger, Rosebud and Lightning Bolt.

Just as the Dead turned this music on to 30+ years of kids, I can grow old knowing the music is in quite capable hands for future generations. There is nothing not to like about this.

JoeShmo , Cody is playing a Collings. It's pretty much a D2HA with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides.

@@mattmazzara1 I see. Thanks for the info. I didn't know whether it was a Collings or Bourgeois or what.
