A bit of clarification on the last statement: do not do anything to the tick: vaseline, nail polish etc. just remove it by pulling it STRAIGHT out. Do not twist. The longer the tick stays attached, the more likely it is that it will transfer disease to you. Also cleanse the area just as you would with any other wound once you remove it. In the MCU, it's an alloy of vibranium with an unknown metal, probably an iron alloy (because they weren't allowed to use adamantium), while in the comics, it's proto-adamantium. In fact, the metal that is bonded to Wolverine's skeleton (ftr, his bones aren't coated, they have bonded to the metal on a molecular level) was an attempt at recreating the original alloy found in Cap's shield.

Although they refer to each other as brother/sister regularly throughout the series, the members of the endless family are not necessarily related, as members in the family have died only to be replaced by holders of power within their respective realms of influence who seem to inherit(/be overridden by) much of the former endless' personalities and knowledge. I'm actually, you said to order the magic cards from most to least expensive, he gave the answer exactly opposite and thus incorrect. Also, the term you were looking for was 'Converted Mana Cost' as the Mana cost includes the color requirements and cannot be compared as a simple number.

You absolutely do not want to cover a tick in anything, you do not want to kill it before removing it as they might vomit when they die which if they're still attached to you is a great way to get contaminated blood back in your body.

I always used a lighter to get the tick out. Waving the flame directly above the tick will get it to pull out to escape. At that point, pull what little may still be in out with tweezers or just flick it.

He’s technically not a successful author, as his first book comes in the mail when Marty returns.
@molly-zx9cr3 жыл бұрын
I guess it depends on how you define successful author? He successfully authored and published a book. But whether that book is successful on the market we don’t know
@-Offstar3 жыл бұрын
He is a successful author his book came in the mail because copies of his book were mailed to him. Just look at their clothes, their vehicles, how the family acts, how the house is decorated it's clearly obvious that they've found success and have money. How else would they have sent his father copies of his book? Hand delivered by the ceo of the publishing company?
@Dream0Asylum3 жыл бұрын
My head-canon is that he was successfully writing, just not novels. You don't get a BMW, posh furniture, and an afternoon of tennis while waiting for your first success to happen along. Also in my head-canon, they're in the same house because it was arranged and gifted by their parents when they first got married.
@guntotingmonk3 жыл бұрын
The book he got in the mail at the end of BttF 1 was not his first published book. From the BttF 2 we know that he was a successful author before 1985 because when Marty jumps back to the alternate dark timeline where his father was murdered the headline from 1973 is, "Local Author Murdered." George McFly must have been decently successful to be referred to as "local author" and to get a front page headline about his murder.

Um, actually, the mana costs of Serra Angel and Time Walk have "generic mana" in their costs, which can be paid with any mana (colored or colorless). Until 2016, colorless mana producers and generic mana costs used the same symbols, leading to terminology confusion, until the set Oath of the Gatewatch in 2016 introduced the colorless mana symbol and colorless mana costs (that can only be paid with colorless mana).

Um actually, MtG's converter mana costs (CMCs) include generic, not colourless pips. Colourless is an actual mana type and is represented by a diamond in the pip. Colourless mana came about from the destruction of land on the plane of Zendikar by the hands/tentacles/whatnots of the Eldrazi.

Um, actually, none of the cards you listed cost colorless mana; Time Walk and Serra Angel cost *generic* mana. "Colorless" mana, the kind of mana produced by Sol Ring and required to cast Kozilek, the Great Distortion, is actually something different altogether. While it was only recently given its own mana symbol in the Battle for Zendikar block, it's always been distinct from generic mana under the hood, in the official game rules. It's a *super* common mistake, though, and I wouldn't mention it in most circumstances -- but that is what this game is all about, after all. :)
