Got my card exactly one year ago and it was issued by Wells. Glad Im not having to go through this. I do think its dumb that they cant just reissue a new card from Wells. Im guessing its because its from a different bank but not sure.

WF cardholders have nothing to worry about just cards without tap to pay and cards issued by Evolve, it’s odd because I was never aware the first edition of the Bilt card wasn’t underwritten by WF. Evolve accounts should have just converted into the WF portfolio but some issues may exist for this not to be possible.

It's weird because Wells Fargo pays Bilt for each new account acquisition; wouldn't that cost more?

Hopefully you get the 5x for 5 days if you’re reapplying for the BILT. I got it recently and got that promotion. Also American Airlines is no longer a transfer partner.😢

Bilt is a little overrated anyway, as far as earnings go. Great card 12 out of 365 days a year lol

But the expenses on those 12 days are a lot. What other single card are you spending $2k+ * 12 mo = $24k+ a year on?

@@LK_EBM That's why I said great card 12 days a year lol. No argument, that 1% back on rent is basically 1-2 free stays with Hyatt. I just wish the other 29-30 days gave more incentive to use it as a daily driver.
