Hi Bincy, I made these yesterday and I have no words to explain how happy I was after seeing my baked turnovers. The feeling of baking something totally from scratch is inexplicable. Thanks a lot for this easy pastry dough recipe and also the yummiest turnovers. Though I have made pastry dough from scratch years ago, I had always felt it a very tedious job and later preferred store bought sheets though they don't taste the same. I was very excited to watch your video and now this will always be my got to recipe for pastry dough 😍😋👌. Thank you so much! 😊👍

Ok Bincy, I made 3 batch of turnovers using fillings of homemade Apple, creamy peach and strawberry jam. I also made a 10inch pie with Apple and creamy peach half/half filling. That's a really good idea to put the parchment paper over the top of pastry when rolling to stop it sticking never thought to do that, this is the first time I've seen this on all the cooking KZbin cooking videos i don't know why don't other people do this maybe they haven't thought it 🎉

Ah! You make such lovely items, and you seem so gentle and relaxed during the whole process. I tried a slightly different approach to making this kind of dough (for pie crust) and felt as if I were wrestling a monster the whole time! :-) But I'll try this exactly as you showed it, and maybe it'll work better! I would love to make a turnover that crackles and tears the way yours does! I'm sure the parchment paper trick will help. Thank you for your example!

Thank you Dena.If you want a more "wet" consistency,just add a little more water(2-3 tbsp) and cook for some more time or until it reaches the consistency you need.
