Binne Cardigan

Learn how to make the Binne Cardigan with Bonnie! This design first appeared in her book, Celtic Cable Crochet in 2016. Since then there have been many requests for a video tutorial for this design. Thank you for recommending that I do this!
To be very clear from the onset, this is an intermediate design, and I am crocheting the large size in this demonstration. Due to the many varied numbers involved in demonstrating a design with 7 different sizes, I chose not to confuse the instruction with all these different numbers continually. Instead I highly recommend that you purchase the book with this pattern so that you can study it and highlight the sets of numbers that pertain to your sizing. BE SURE TO WORK UP A SWATCH TO OBTAIN A PROPER GAUGE BEFORE STARTING! This will save you hours of frustration later.

I substituted Berroco Vintage DK yarn (52% acrylic, 40% wool, 8% nylon, 3.5 oz/100 g, 290 yds/266 m) because the original yarn used is no longer available. Here are the number of hanks needed per size: XS & S: 8 hanks, M: 9 hanks, L: 10 hanks, XL: 11 hanks, 2X: 12 hanks, 3X: 13 hanks.
