This and the 6 Million Dollar Man were 2 of the biggest prime time shows in the late 70’s. Many actresses passed on the role because they found the bionic super-hero-esque role silly, then Lindsay Wagner would go on to win an Emmy for her performance as Jaime Sommers. The specific episode she won for was the 2 part Deadly Ringer, check it out.

It doesn’t matter. She always went undercover as Jaime Sommers - they didn’t change her name. Even if someone did recognize her, say, as Savage Sommers, she’s just there making a few bucks. Her tennis past wouldn’t matter. Nobody would know or even think she’s a government agent. And with no social media etc people weren’t as recognizable as they would be today anyways. It’s not like you could jump online and quickly Google her it was the 70’s lol.

On the subject of beauty pageants The Great American Beauty Contest is a 1973 made for tv cheese fest of a film on youtube. Starring in this movie are three of the 70's super women who all starred in action series. Farrah Fawcett of Charlie's Angels ABC TV, Susan Anton of Stop Susan Williams NBC TV, and last but not least JoAnna Cameron of The Mighty ISIS CBS TV. I won't say who won and spoil the ending you will have to do a little Charles Townsend private investigating for yourself!
