You all know my razzle dazzle sister, Jane Esselstyn. She's an author, a researcher, an RN, a KZbin star alongside our mom, Ann-and she's a fierce warrior for the plant-based movement.
What you may not know is she is also a middle school sex ed teacher! Jane has spent nearly 30 years helping both kids and adults to understand that part of being a healthy grown-up includes a healthy sex life.
Now I know it can be awkward to talk about these things. That’s why Jane really shines here. She uses a healthy dose of empathy, compassion and humor to talk about things that we are often too embarrassed to talk about.
So here we go! Learn the dangers of porn, the importance of communication, and how making sex a mindful habit-like every other healthy habit-can improve your overall wellbeing.

This video made me respect you both even more. Sex is a hard topic to talk about, even harder among family. Your parents did a great job of being open and allowing you to be open about a much taboo subject in many families. The fact that you treat it as a healthy normal part of our humanity makes it an understandable subject to cover by a family dedicated to health. Good job!👏

I have been glued to this podcast, 57 year old married, apart from the fact it was funny, does make me want to get husband eating ‘more secret vegetables’ he’s a vegephobe which I am trying to get past he also picks beans out of everything unless they are red 🙄 have resorted to mashing them into meals like a child

I didn't like meat as a child either, I remember picking up a piece of chicken that had a rubbery vein sticking out of it...yuck it ruined me for life....lol. My Mom was a nurse and all our friends wound go to her for info about sex and menstruation because she had such a great sense of humor and answered questions in a way that was funny and informative. Thanks RIP and JANE for talking about this, both my husband 73 and my self 65 have noticed a huge improvement in our sex lives since going Plant Based 2 yrs ago.

I didn’t like steak and meat either, but my family acted like I was odd, so I adapted. But, I naturally did not like meat, even though I ate it. I remember telling my parents about the poor animals and the blood was gross

Sooo what about the spouse that will not change from a SAD diet and has lost it and is on insulin + medication AND loves his SAD lifestyle. What about the wife that eats a WFPBNO lifestyle and has lost a place in the relationship because of the husband. Yeah you can’t answer this. I get it. I get it. People are not perfect. I know that I will out live my husband.

Hope you block Hiker Bill. This is not the place to talk about Esselstyns going to Hell for not knowing God in his certain belief system. Others of us have other belief systems. And, anyway, just not the place to write or read this!!!
