This is one of the best hunting videos I've ever watched. It gave the feeling of the solitude of the experience, the struggle came through yet so did Jim's optimism. When I realized Marcus was doing the river in a kayak - it was a wow moment. Great video, the drone footage was an exceptional touch.

The cinemetography was excellent and really captured the sense of remoteness. Jim's sense of humor and humility are a bonus for sure. I was wondering "how is one (or two?) people going to clean and carry out hundreds of pounds of meat? ", when all of a sudden all these folks showed up out of nowhere :-). Amazing. I never knew there was a such thing as a "wood bison", let alone in Alaska.

It can. Better clothes, cameras, maps, and gear helps especially when in rugged terrain; the numbers of game aren't like what they were when the settlers showed, and it sure helps to be outfitted right

Hunting big game in Alaska what makes butchering a breeze is this battery powered reciprocating saws. These saws make extreme fast work of moose or any big animal. I hunt buy myself and use a large jet boat to hunt Alaska rivers. I also have in the jet boat a deer cart 2 wheeled game carrier and have a Lewis chainsaw winch and winch on the front of the jet boat all the winches are used to snake moose to the shore for clean water used in butchering. Was this the Copper river ?
