The things he held up to the light and then touched to her head are holy symbols of various religions. In a sense you're right, each one is a key to the particular demon's weakness. The chair is an electric chair. Many died in it so it has become a focal point for psychic energy. Isabelle killed herself so she could not be used as the vessel, that is why they had to get the twin to "wake up" her powers again so they could use her. I was like 14 when this movie came out, and I was a big fan of Keanu Reeves since the Matrix (1999). I remember thinking this "into the light I command thee" scene was really cool. 43:43. Actually crucifixion wasn't meant to kill but to make the person suffer, some people were still alive after crucifixion for days, even weeks. So yeah, it's quite plausible that Jesus also didn't die from the crucifixion alone but for something else

A couple of days ago, I started to watch this reaction and realized that, although I remembered this being a fabulous movie, I couldn't recall all of the details. So I stopped watching the reaction and watched the movie again so I could enjoy you discovering all the bits and pieces. But I hate to say it but you did overlook one thing: this movie is like the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies - there was an end-credit scene. In fact, I didn't realize that until just yesterday. 😁 BTW: I like the BABYMETAL look with the hair. 🤘🦊🤘 A suggested movie: "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" made in 1963 and arguably the best comedy ever made ((you want the 197 or 202 minute version). 😂😂😂

Spear of Destiny is an actual thing, wether it's authentic or not. It is a relic, a spear that was believed to be an actual Roman spear that pierced Jesus' side. There is no proof that it was authentic, but young Adolf Hitler was said to have taken a great interested in what was believed to be the Spear of Longinus, or Spear of Destiny, while observing it in the castle where it was heald. The sequel to ID Software's (Doom, Quake) early 1st person shooter game #Wolfenstein3D, where you shot nazis from a first person view and fought Hitler in the end, was also named Spear of Destiny.

It’s kind of funny about the name John in regards to Keanu. Hollywood wanted to change his name to John, because they’d thought people would have a hard time using his real name, but ultimately decided against it, either because he didn’t want to or they just didn’t care anymore,I don’t remember. But, it’s been a kind of running theme/joke now for Keanu to play a “John” in many, or most, of the films he’s starred in.

The Spear of Longinus was in a museum in Austria, it was taken by the the SS during the annexation of the country by Hitler's regime. It's a real artifact but of course a medieval forgery, it was the spear that pierced Christ side. However it's most likely a medieval forgery, but Hitler took it seriously and gave it to the SS.

This movie isn’t comic book accurate. Constantine is actually blond and Irish or British in the comics. He smokes much and drinks to deal with the burden of fighting demons. He works with the magical heroes of DC Universe in the Justice League Dark team. He has a romance with the magician Zatanna. The other members of the team are Swamp Thing, Austin Brand/Dead Man, Jason Blood/Eterigan who is immortal human kept alive because he is cursed to fight as a evil as a demon. There is a animated movie about the characters on Amazon Prime.

The spear of destiny is the spear of Longinus, which pierced the side of Jesus Christ as he hung from the cross. Longinus as a result was condemned to walk the Earth until Christ's return. That's likely why the guy who was in possession of the spear-tip wasn't killed by the car. The curse was transferred. (that's my theory, anyway).
