Deepal S07 Sunday driving

PTT (EV Station) are now setting up EV Hubs with more chargers. They converted a LPG station nearby to a hub with 8 charging points, under a roof and 150 kW charging power.

I know some S07 owners and all are quite happy with the car. Some of them have upgraded the suspension with the affordable ProFender kit.

Bjorn probably thinking with european mindset, changing suspension will be very expensive (not the part, but more likely the cost of mechanics), also priorioty really different between reviewer and normal user, no one that I knew, care about efficiency of the car, fun to drive when the bought the car, number one always cost, if they pay premium, features and interior quality matter more than fun to drive.

Well left lane huggers are strong here in sweden to i did pass two that was in the left lane and empty right lane so passed them on right , always pisses me of when people hug the left lane when right is empty , keep up the good videos Björn and happy holidays to.

Always keep in mind the price. The Deepal S07 is more than 15k€ cheaper than a Model Y in Thailand. That's why it's selling. And it would also sell in Europe if it's that much cheaper.

Correct, and they hadn’t any competition until now. This may change with the introduction of the even cheaper BYD Sealion 7. The styling of the S07 seems also to be attractive. I see many on the road in all the different colours and the car looks good.

Yes, the styling too. I noticed the car even before I knew what it was, simply because it caught my eye on the roads. The competition with the Sealion 7 will be interesting, because as you said it is significantly cheaper than the Deepal S07. And in my opinion the Sealion also looks good (in contrast to the Seal U - especially the front just doesn't work for me).

@ I am already owning a BYD Dolphin and there are some details I prefer, like LFP batteries, conventional stocks (like the Japanese cars), window and door controls. The S07 has electric doors. So I have always to instruct new passengers how to operate the doors in an emergency.

@ The Sealion 7 is a very attractive package. The quality improved even a step more from the Seal. But it is quite large. I will wait for the Sealion 5, first.

As I've read the Teslas have poor turning radius, but is there any problem in reality? With the model 3 is there any problem doing the uturns that are in the middle of the road (not under/over pass)?

I have Model Y from 2023. In Denmark our parking garages are often quite narrow and when you go from one floor to another the turning radius is quite challenging.

Should be close to 500km. At 10:30 in the video you see 473km with 5% battery left.

The only interesting vehicle in your thai motor show videos was the thai ev pickup, it looks quite free from lane keep and similar mental patient assistence for incapacitated iphone drivers. Will you review that pickup ? Dont forget terrain capability. IF they make a 3 seat version for my dogs i buy two tomorrow. That cyber truck and hummer is just for flashy disco people, useless POS.
