Black Max 26cc Blower / Vacuum - Review and Test

In this video, I Test and Review the Black Max 26cc 2 Cycle Blower/Vac, which I bought from Walmart. Stick around to the end to see the decibel levels of the blower while it is idling and running full out. I just bought this blower, paid $64 end of season clearance. Also, I'm glad I am not an idiot which qualifies me to use all of this blower's options. LOL

I own this same blower it very good for blowing off concrete it’s not strong at all to blow leaves

Thanks for the review! This is identical to my RYOBI HANDHELD GAS LEAF BLOWER 200 MPH 26 cc 3 Cycle Model RYO9050. They no longer make that model. It's lasted me well over 10 years and I've just recently started to change out parts like the carb. but still Too many hard starts. So while I decide to change out the ignition module I was looking at this Black max. I wasn't sure about the brand Black max but i read that it's made by HONDA. not sure if that's right at this time but your review gave me enough information to make my purchase. Electric is too expensive to use for 2-3 hours of leaf blowing. And a back pack is too cumbersome for my situation. So investing in a newer gas leaf blower compatible to what I've been using is the most logical thing. Thanks again!!

So would you recommend this ? Cause I recently got an other one of there products which is the big 520Cfm 160 mph air blower and it gave out 2 months in just wanted to see if you can review that . Maybe I did something wrong

I can recommend it for the price at this point. It's definitely competitive with other tools in this range. I'm in my second season using it and no issues so far.

Thanks for showing how to assemble the vacuum. I am not a complete moron but I never would have figured it out without this video. The instructions are terrible.

Strongly considering buying this 2 stroke leaf blower next spring in 2024 from Walmart. My current gas leaf blower is a toro power vac, had it for 6 or 7 years now, but it’s getting old and doesn’t start as well as it use to.

i bought one, it started up 3 times and ran for about 20 minutes but now it wont start up at all. has compression and spark, just wont start or even attempt to

59 bucks at the walmart by the house. I've been using it, and the vacuum function is kinda awkward to hold. Doesn't mulch leaves that well either. The whole operation is awkward actually. It feels like it was designed for a left handed person. I prefer the black and decker electric blower/vacuum. But.. .this still has a place in the shed. Starts very easily. I prefer gas anything over messing with electric cords.

Mine won’t start anymore I’ve only had it for 3 months only works for a few minutes on half choke but will turn off if I set on run

Sounds like the carburetor needs to be cleaned.

I'm looking into getting a blower that can vacuum I already have an Echo hand held blower. I'm just going to have one set up all the time. How do you think the black max compares to the others in it's price range? Like poulen, Troy bilt, Craftsman etc.

I haven't tested a bunch of others but this feels to me like just about the same as all the other lower end brands that have some level of quality control.

I throw out all the vacuum parts. But after a year with this thing, it hardly start up now.

Can’t use ethanol gas with it. Ethanol gums up the carb

Terrible for leaf pickup. I have an electric one that works better than this trash, leaf blower works okay though
