I'm the least materialistic person when it comes to technology but this phone is a thing of beauty, I never held such a well built phone. When I was deciding on which phone to buy I went to a tech store and the galaxies felt like cheap ass plastic, let alone the prices, of course iphone was not an option, too overrated, almost no shops have BlackBerry s on display so I did my research and opted for the classic which I purchased online, I was very impressed just by the manufacture to it. then the software is quite easy to use, it takes some getting used to, the hub is the best thing and typing is great, this is not a phone for pokemon go, it s a real deal, the battery lasts me like 26 hours (suck that iphone lovers) and I know I will have this working for years to come, great product. The camera is very good, the app thing is the only thing you need to work out but in the long run this is totally worth it

Wow. BlackBerry assistant has gotten much better. I remember when it had like just come out on my Z10, it was horribly slow. Glad they've improved it. Maybe I'll go back to BlackBerry.

Barring Google services and apps which use them I see nothing attractive about iPhones and Android. I find my BB10 Q20 is faster and more direct than those other devices which are for consuming media.

i agree. i've had both samsung and iphone and they are complete shit. the iphone works for those social media and gaming teenagers but i am not about to be an adult and i'm just completely sick of my iphone. it's also starting to lag a lot because apple slows down past generation iphones (i have the 5s which is pretty old) and the samsungs i have had......no comment. just shit. slow and just....shit...

Many have said that same thing after using iOS and Android devices. I've said the same. In fact I just bought a classic in good condition just for the nostalgia. I've never been more productive than on my previous Q10. The keyboard is a master stroke and the only reason professionals are resorting to iPhones is because of apps.

Great review DetroitBORG. As a long time tech junkie, I've used them all. My last three phones have been the iPhone 5S, Nexus 5, and I've actually just upgraded to the Classic, and I love it. I am an old school Blackberry fan, so this was like coming home. I thought I knew this phone inside and out after three weeks, but you've actually hit a few good tips I didn't know about. Cheers. P.S. for those that have never been Blackberry users, you may just want to have a look. In my opinion, this is one of the best phones I've ever used.

As a road warrior sales man, the idea of a blackberry is inviting. My company switched from Blackberry to iOS about three years ago. As a person who is typing on his phone for 7+ hours a day, these keyboards are perfect. The things I use a smart phone for these days are text, email, browser, gps, and KZbin. That's it and nothing more.

constructive criticism: 1.) Don't combine an unboxing and review. Your personal opinion matters to the subscribers and there's no credibility on doing a review without using it as your daily driver for a couple of days. 2.) 32:35 is to much even for a review. I could have watched an entire tv show with that amount of time. short and straight to the point is what matters the most.

Completely disagree with what your saying. How can you review a phone in 10 minutes? That's not a review as much as these phones do these days you can't go over it all in 10 minutes. I never understood sites like android central put out a video review and its 2:30 long its a joke. This man takes pride in his job and what he is doing. Its not a summery of what he thinks it's a review. And reviews take time. If your going to spend over $400 dollars on something 30 minutes is good gives you an idea how the device really acts and looks.

My family tend to use either Blackberry or Apple, so this is great for those who still buy Blackberry phones. I do like them myself, if I were offered a choice for a business phone, I'd keep my personal iPhone and take a Passport or Classic as they look a lot smarter. And I'm an Apple fan! These new Blackberry phones are simply wonderful. I'm totally won over.

Another great review Mike! I'm using the blackberry Q10 while waiting for the Galaxy S6 and HTC M9 and I love it man, I think the OS is very nice and we'll design and blackberry does not get enough credit. I'm primarily an android user, I also just sold my iPhone 6 plus. But I really enjoy blackberry with the keyboard, OS and I will keep the Q10 as a permanent backup when the new android phones are released.

I just want the keyboard again. I had the Blackberry Bold 9790 for nearly 3 years before it quit on me almost 2 years ago. Loved that little thing, but I don't think I could go back to a Blackberry phone after having a Samsung Galaxy S5.

+Briar Lynne its hard to say, i just picked up the s7 edge and grab the BB just as frequently. Yes the size is hard to readapt to, but I prefer the hub over what android has to offer
