It's crazy that I'm both a Beatles and pearl jam dork and somehow didn't actually hear this until now. I think the universe held it back until I truly needed it. Thank you.

I would love be in that crowd. Just amazing to see Eddie´s evolution. From the crazy singer jumping from top of stages (which wasn´t bad at all) to making people get so emotional with a cover of the Beatles, and letting them interact with him. He´s a great example of getting older properly, never lose his intensity just made it different but keep it powerfull.

Watching & listening to Eddie Vedder grow from a boy, into a man... telling the often heartbreaking, sometimes triumphant story of his life & sharing it all with us thru his music has been a story that I, for one, am hopeful never ends. I wish him true love, deep & loyal friendships, many blessings & all good things... forever.💕🙏💕

One of, if not my favourite Beatles song. Never thought someone could match McCartney, but this almost has a more emotional feel than the original for me. Love it
@Wildflowers_and_ravens4 жыл бұрын
McLean90 My husband and I just had a convo about this. He thinks McCartney may have intentionally understated his vocals on some of his more lyrically powerful songs to allow the lyrics to shine through. It’s a thought. But I absolutely love EV’s performance of this song.
@mclean90923 жыл бұрын
Stephanie Pepper What a great thought would make a lot of sense as you do tend to focus on the lyrics a lot more. You were only waiting for this moment to be free just hits me every time.

Can anyone confirm this was from the Warner Theater in DC? It looks like the same duds he was wearing that night. That was one of the best shows my wife and I have ever attended, and I'll never forget the look on his face when the entire theater was chirping back at him...the vid doesn't do a good job of translating how loud that actually was. It was plain then how proud he was, but nice to see his reaction a little closer up. Good times.
