I live in the UK but I come from a simple country. They've tried to install a few traffic cameras in my home city. But they are always found to have a bullet hole or two by the next day. The city stopped trying after losing a few speed cameras and is now completely speed camera free. You keep doing this long enough, it works. I've seen that it does.

There is a group of people called "blade runners" going around and cutting down the cameras or disabling them in some way as much as possible. Someone has placed the sticker on the box advertising that they are good for taking out ULEZ cameras.
