The point about where eyes point and activating muscles was completely new to me, very fascinating. Usually people just say it doesn't really matter if it works for you, but you also know that slight "psychological" cues like that help, this makes sense. These analyses are cool.

You do the best weightlifting analysis I've seen. The way you point out where a lifter is weak (right hip/leg) is impressive. I would love to hear your analysis of Chen Lijun's catch and asymmetric bottom position in the snatch.

fantastic analysis, Gabriel. Especially the bit about mind/eye muscle connection!

Isn't Blagoy's 195kg snatch the best of all time ? I remember reading an article a few years ago pointing out that using a bodyweight index, similar to Wilks in powerlifting don't remember its name, it was the snatch that "scored" the most points of all time ..?

Sergei arkalon 1982 WWC it’s on hook grip he starts with hips really high in both Snatch and Clean I notice sometimes If I lift with higher hips it feels Good but not consistent with a dive bomb start. Maybe just so you can check it out it has Kokolovs dad in it too
