This is really awesome. I did prefer the planet background from the previous blockade video though. I think there is a lot that could be gained from making your own space battle rather than rehashing the battle of coruscant.

Not bad. I would say adjust the glow of some of the engines (they look a little too big for the distance they're at) and maybe make the ships and camera movement a little more interesting (yeah I know its a wip, but just for the next stage!) Good work! Keep at it!

I did the explosion in houdini, using the GPU explosion node, which is an extremely simple way to make explosions

Hey man, first off phenomenal work! Looks incredible! Quick question however, what model of Venator did you use? Whever I try loading in the 2k or obj model into blender, my entire system crashes. I have a pretty good setup, but it might not be "good enough". I'm very new to this sort of thing.

Ryzen 7 2700x 8 core processer ASUS b-350f Motherboard 16 gb ram 250 gb ssd (Which blender is on) I'm pretty sure that's everything that matters

I can open the blend file, when I do, it then opens blender and stats loading, but it then freezes and then tells me "blender has stopped responding" before basically freezing my system. This was the 2k model.

u dont need to use the 2k version as the 1k is more than enough quality, and how long r u waiting for blender to respond? id suggest leaving it like 10 mins, it says not responding with mine, but it eventually loads in

How were you able to add the windows lights for the Providence-class Dreadnought?

From what I remember there were already separate window textures which just had to have emission increased on it

@@HobbitVFX So I've been doing a lot of looking in Frosty Editor to look for the CIS Dreadnaught's window texture but so far I haven't found it. Not even from: Gameplay > Vehicles > Capital > ProvidenceClassDreadnaught. No luck...

Very very good Job! I love the sound. I’ve finished the first version of the Venator over a year ago, but just noticed now, that I forgot to assign the window shader to the 6 windows in the center, looking onto the big hangar :/
