Might be a small and easy addition, but a dirt/gravel road for the road-asset would be nice. I usually use true terrain for texturing environments, and adding roads to that is kind of a janky job. Been doing it manually but having a spline tool like that would be such a quality of life feature.

How do you match it to the terrain without it clipping through or floating above?

@@circuit10 You draw the curve with «surface» enabled and enough resolution for this not to happen. You can also convert it to mesh after and shrinkwrap it to the terrain (or vice versa)

@@TheEightfoldPath_ Oh, I was hoping there was a way to do it without making the polygon count huge I tried shrinkwrap but it doesn’t work that well with low polygon count because it clips through

been waiting for something like this to roll around! immediately picked it up because I know it's going to be a super important asset for just about anything I work on. a couple of ideas here!: - gravel path, because modelling and scattering a ton of rocks when trying to do terrain is never fun ✅rock path, same reason. ✅brick wall with accurate brick shapes. it's hard to get those right with plain materials, especially with slopes or curves. - train tracks ✅ a faucet-like water flow with a little bit of pooling. simulation is always overkill for situations like these - water showering out of a showerhead/hose - various ladders like rope, caged, wooden, etc. - dominos? limited use cases, but it's definitely an idea - flags, I'm sure you could do some amazing wind "physics" - spider webs/cobwebs Edit: added a check under all the stuff that's been added!

Look for easy-pbr. It's a free add-on that kinda makes the workflow easier, but it works with one principled shader at a time. So you cant mix shaders, but there are fair solutions to that.

Half of these assets you can drag and drop and they place. Half of them when you drag, it shows a large cube cursor like it is going to place, but when you release, it apparently doesn't place the item. Please advise what I'm missing? Thx!

Joey is a worthy opponent 😏, but yours is really looking strong. The detail of that chain link fence was impressive. I would love to peek at those nodes. It's not really something that would be practical for me, but I wish you the best results. I'm in it mainly to geek out on the brainy stuff. 🤷 (I'll get ya on my next financial level-up ;)

This looks amazing and I purchased, but after I install, I can't find "curvify" in the add-ons to enable it so that I can start using it. I've tried restarting blender, manually moving the files to the wierd "appData/roaming" location, etc. Nothing is working. Update: these are "assets," not "add-ons," so Edit->Preferences->File Path->Libraries->"+"-> add file path to downloaded assets. Then, change one of the 3D viewport windows to "asset browser," select your new library of assets.
