I feel like what really hooks you about this show is, after so many Marvel and superhero movies where the hero in question struggles with the question of killing the people he's out to defeat, it's jaw-dropping seeing the brutality, savagery, and slaughter that is simply the Punisher's default method.

Finished the show and it is incredible! The whole cast is amazing, especially Bernthal. It balances comic book dialogue, brutal action, and real issues very well. Also, you probably recognize agent Madani's mother's voice as Tali's aunt, Shala Raan, from Mass Effect.

I’m sure yall figured this out already, but the soundtrack in this episode is by Tom Waits. The song is called “hell broke Luce” from the album Bad as Me 👍 Frank exhibits a love of Tom waits’s music a few times through the series. It’s kind of dope that frank listens to Tom and gets his whole thing. Or maybe it’s visa verse ;)

I'm only on episode 3 and i can be honest i think punisher might be up their with Daredevil as one of the bests, with this episode The flashback scenes tugged at my heartstrings, I also loved the scene with Frank and curt during the meeting scene I also apericated the whole group counselling scene and how real it was. The fight scene with the construction guys let just say I have rewatched that scene close to 5 times based off how awesome it is ( the music,his brutality) it was awesome
