Knock all the the snow off your boots before you take them off and keep them in your pack in the tent not the vestibule...makes them a bit more pleasant to get on and you can do it without letting the little heat you have in the tent out before you open the inner. Your boots should be fairly clean when conditions are as you had so its not like putting muddy boots inside the tent. Really good use of time/estimation on distance and also having multiple other plans as the day unfolds - this is such an important part of being out in the hills in winter!

I have to say, the quality of your footage was very very impressive, you really should give yourself a big pat on the back. Your use of the light at sunrise captured an incredible atmosphere, and I thought the shots which accentuated the sound really topped it off. I’ve watched a lot of KZbin mountain films and for me this absolutely right up there. For me it went past ‘KZbinr’ and was akin to mountaineering cinematography. I’m not sure if you watch Tom Heaney’s work, but I feel you both are very similar in how you frame and plan your shots. Congrats Phil
