Sorry Kempy Wilson at wing mean Kiraz to centre, sorry but Kiraz is a very average centre. But semi elite on the wing for tha balance of that edge you’d have to have Kiraz starting on that wing. And having so many options at centre if you’re not going with Xeri then it’s got to be Tracey. Also for Tracey how can you pencil him into fullback when he’s coming off an injury. Didn’t get a full preseason & hasn’t even trialled at 1 at least you could have either of Xeri or Tracey start at centre Plus why not have Salmon at 13 with Curran as your bench edge backrower? Or have those 2 in a rotation start with Curran then Salmon off the bench. Why not use Mann as your 14 coming on to relieve Mahoney at 9 when he’s absolutely brained it at 9 aswell as coverage for 13 if needed. Gotta find a way to fit the best quality guys into that 17

Dolphins were the biggest disappointments of the week 2 trials. It pains me to say this. They will really struggle. Their forwards got exposed on the weekend. A complete lack of strength and energy. You can see why Gus was quick to flick Averillo as well. I thought it was a season of hope and promise but they will get 16th and win way less than 9 games. Bulldogs on the other hand one of the more impressive teams in the trials. Their attack is still way off and that's to be expected being a virtual new NRL franchise and less games for the club in the Top 30 than the Dolphins have for the Dolphins. Their defence, attitude and mindset is totally different. Unlocking Burton and making Mahoney play a simple team game will be the two biggest challenges. Gus now just needs to take a few steps back from the NRL side of things and allow the roster to settle down. Will go close to making the 8.

Panthers were clunky. Wigan were awesome... but they still didn't win the game. The ref won the game for them. That says plenty about the quality of the Panthers over Wigan. Wigan didn't deserve to get the "job done". That's the injustice of it. Panthers at their average were still better than Wigan at their absolute best.
