I knew a guy who was just like Miklo, stuck in his ways, bitter about a lot of things, when he found out I let go of some of those things he would tell me "but what about family!" He would always tell me he was gonna get it on his own, but back n forth he went through jail, i would always try to encourage him to do better and would always celebrate his accomplishments, big or small but I had to let him go since he was just in a downward spiral and nothing I did ever helped. But I dont feel bad that I let him go for my own growth, I just hope hes doing okay.
