[Bloodborne] 4 Blood Rock in one Playthrough

ATTENTION: it does seem like when you obtained the rocks in the chalice dungeons you can not get them in ng+ (+++++...) again. sorry guys, my mistake! i will find out a reliable way to farm blood rocks and will upload it as soon as possible!
Most people know this but here is a little guide for everyone who don´t. Basically you can get 1 Blood Rock from the story and 1 Blood Rock of every Chalice Dungeon Area (Isz, Pthumeru, Loran)
To fully use my Guides you have to unlock all Chalice Dungeons and already have created a Root Chalice Depth 5 with all Rites (R/F/C)

I get the one in mergos middle, the fishing hamlet and usually use all the madman’s knowledge to get rocks. Unless you need chalice materials rocks are the best to use your insight for

There's 6 per playthrough in total, 1 rock from buying it with 60 insight endgame, 1 from brain in mergo area, 1 from dlc, and 3 available in chalice dungeons

The chalice dungeons carry over each playthrough, so really this video just shows where to get the blood rock in the main game +3 farming locations.

Kane Wilson nono the glyphs work like seeds in minecraft. (maybe you are more familiar with this) all normal chalices look the same but "root" chalices will be generated randomly. so lets say i open up a root chalice and the game will give me the glyph for my root chalice. Now i am able to share my exact copy of my root chalice dungeon with people when i give them my glyph. When you want to visit the dungeons i showcased in the video all you have to do is search for the glyph (shown in the video) you dont need to use any materials. IF you have problems to join the dungeon after searching for it (error: you do not meet the requirements...) i suggest you should check out my video Chalice 101. this is a step by step tutorial how to join every glyph

PaiNz _v I understand that root chalice's generate random dungeons, I just wanted to know if I could create mybown dungeon with a blood rock in it or if it had to be that specific dungeon, although I don't know what the requirements you're talking about are so I will have a looj at your other video xD

Kane Wilson yes of course if you are lucky you can create your own root chalice with a blood rock in it. The glyphs i showcased wasnt mine either, i just searched for the most convenient dungeons where you guys just need to open them and dont have to run a long way to get the blood rock ;)

That usually means you already got one blood rock from that type of dungeon already.I had the same happen to me with caryll runes.

I've gotten 6 Blood Rocks in the same playthrough. - 1 from the story - 1 from a Foetid, Rotted and Cursed Isz Root Chalice - 1 from a Foetid, Rotted and Cursed Lower Loran Root Chalice - 3 from different Foedit, Rotted and Cursed Pthumeru Ihyll Root Chalices However, the Blood Rocks I got from the chalices were all from defeating the final boss in the dungeon. I've never found a Blood Rock in one of the coffins before. It seems that high level chalice dungeons have a small chance to give you a Blood Rock for killing the last boss, regardless of if you've found one in the same chalice type before. I've gotten 2 Blood Rocks in 1 day, both from killing the final boss in a FRC Pthumeru Ihyll Root Chalice.

John John You can buy as many as you like, so long as you have the Insight. They don't reset on NG+ either. Once they're in the store, they're available forever.

You can't get 4 per play through. Chalice dungeon blood rocks do not reset when completing the game and going through to the next play through. You can get 1 per standard play through, 1 per dlc play through, 3 in each of the lvl5 root chalice chests & rare drops from final lvl5 chalice dungeon bosses

If you add the “Old Hunters DLC” (for all that bought it ofc) then it’s *5 Blood Rocks* per Vanilla Walkthrough instead.
