You can’t go wrong with the British countryside and small towns mate, and this railway linked two lovely little towns 👍 yeah I have an import of Air America else I would have picked it up myself 🧐 your absolutely right AJ, I forgot all about JAG 😮 NCIS was a great show but like most of them, it lost its lustre, I don’t think there will be more seasons after its latest one. Hello 👋 Alan I'm glad you're (hopefully) back on your feet. North Devon is a beautiful part of the world. We've had a couple of lovely breaks in Ilfracombe. When we got to Lynmouth and Lynton unfortunately the railway was closed so thanks for showing me what it actually looks like 😆 I remember the cex in Barnstaple had a decent bluray section. 👍 I just watched An Inspector Calls. What a fantastic film.

Hi Roy, back on my feet but using crutches 😬 if you ever get to go on the railway, check out the cafe at the top, they serve giant scones with cream and jam 😋 yep I went to Barnstaple and popped into their CEX (and picked up a few titles, which I want to watch before showing) I agree mate An Inspector Calls is a great movie, I have it in the collection so no need to grab it today 👍 cheers mate, take care👍😃👍

Excellent pickups Alan, I have put Kingdom of the apes on my wishlist, really enjoyed it and its just as good as the other three films. Bad Boys ride or die is another excellent film, one of my favourites of the franchise. The Hitcher is another film i can't wait to get my hands on, Classic. Thanks mate.

Hi Mark, I’ve watched Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes three times so far…not because I love it that much (which I do) but my wife fell asleep the first two times and I don’t like to stop a movie half way through 😆 are you getting the standard or the bell and whistles version of Hitcher? Ah that’s a shame about QP it was my favourite of the bunch. That “you might be a killer” sounds right up my street bud. Quite fancy the Possession but I’m not expecting much haha. Looking forward to watching Apes but I’ve not seen the last 2 yet so I need to play catch up. Also really loved Bad Boys 4 we saw that in cinema the night before Alexander was born. Hi I was in HMV Churchill Square about 11am this morning, they’ve just started a sale on the Arrow label blu rays, a lot of them reduced , I picked up Dario Argento’s Phenomena for £8.99 reduced from £14.99 Some big deals on the box sets too 😃

Hi, Alan, glad you had a good time though glad you're back so I can get my weekly fix! 👍 Used to holiday in Devon a lot when I was young, went to Uni at Exeter and have had to visit a site on the Devon/Cornwall border for my job many a time... lovely to see that railway though, not been on that. *Exorcist III* seems a good price for a CE, which is nice to see rather than a lot of overpriced ones (though those are often the 4Ks probably trying to make up for low market penetration)... though not for me I think. I'm still a little nervous about the *Quiet Place* movies as I'm not sure how much of a scaedy cat I'll be... of course I have them all (in 4K) including this new *A Quiet Place: Day One* which I got on that _HMV exclusive_ steelbook (BTW there's also a non_exclusive steelbook that's more red on black). Sorry you didn't like this latest one but that doesn't appear to be a widespread preference so this one is _definitely_ a case of each to their own (obviously all movies are but I mean in this case I've heard a lot of different opinions putting it best, second or worst). Oops *Tai Chi Master* sounds like it's one for me... later, when I have some money, as is *Air America* as an upgrade to my Spanish Blu-ray. Luckily I already have *Elfen Lied* on the _101 Anime_ release so I can save myself some money. *Gaira's Guts Trilogy* is one I'm considering but I'm not sure about... *Revelation* limited though so hopefully the non-limited they usually release will knock a few pounds off. *Interview With the Vampire* S2 will be a must have but I might have to import if the US slip is as beautifully tactile and reflective as S1 which I got because I didn'y know there was going to be a UK release (interestingly the US release of S2 is out a day after the UK one) but now I have I want them to match; ah I can get it with slip at less than £1 more than the UK cover price so I think so! Luckily for my wallet, the other _Anne Rice_ series adaptation, *Mayfair Witches* doesn't have an S2 release date yet. One of the reasons I'm short of cash is ordering both those *Mobile Suit Gundam* _HMV_ exclusive steelbooks! 🙄 Not seen *Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes* but picked up the 4K steelbook... surprising, eh? Same story with *Bad Boys: Ride or Die* 🤣 _Liam Neeson_ is usually good value so with *Retribution* being a _very_ good price I'll probably grab it at some point. Obviously you know I got the _BIG_ 4K *Hitcher* set as you commented on my unboxing; thanks again. Great video 👍

Hi Justin, it seemed like I was gone from KZbin for ages 😆 I appreciate the kind words mate 🙌 I went down to Exeter on the first Monday I was away and popped in the CEX and HMV (shocker 😮) The Quiet Place films are too scary Justin just a few jump scares here and there 🧐 and Day One is t scary at all…. Sounds like a very expensive time for you mate 🤑 when I was reading up on the Gaira’s Guts trilogy, I actually thought you would like those 🤔 I need to check out Interview With The Vampire as I did like the movie and I’ve heard good things about the show. @@kermitsghost Judging by context do you mean "Quiet Place films *aren't* too scary" not "... *are* too scary"? _Technically_ this coming week is a 'no purchases' week for me as I'm not getting any new releases, but I've seen a few (reduced) back catalogue titles I like... and a certain expensive Australian new 4K release that I want (and luckily, as you've probably gathered, I don't care what other people think as long as _I_ like a movie 😉) that I'm trying to at least hold off on until I get the finances a bit more stable! I confess I'd forgotten how expensive the *Gundan* releases were when I also started buying other things that came out on the same day... I don't think even as HMV Limited Exclusives they're the sort of title that would sell out! You take care as well! 👍

Hi Alan. Hope you had a good time in Devon. Nice to see the funicular, I used to go on the one in Hastings….I saw Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes on my flight home the other week and didn’t take to it much but watching on a long flight clearly not the best way of watching. The Hitcher is one I loved at the cinema in the 80s and saw twice.

Hi Sir Alan, Some great sights in Devon there, i actually never owned "Night of the living dead" its not one of my fav horror zombie movies but its one i"ll add to the collection at some point, "Friday the 13th Part 2" my fav in that series, "A Quiet place- Day One" i didn"t mind the bits that i did see but i didnt fall asleep in certain moments 😅. I did enjoy "Kingdom of the Planet of the apes" Martin Lawrence" in anything annoys the hell out of me i"m afraid, his constant shouting in "Bad Boys" turned me right off, finally "The Hitcher" finally released in the UK & what a classic, fine update buddy.

You bought the "Standard" version of the Hitcher so you got the "Standard" version of the movie haha ;) That's actually one of the biggest things people rawe about when they talk about Second Sight.. The fact that they do a limited and standard release at the same time (for those that don't wanna spend the money of the big limited sets).

@@kermitsghost I think it’s one of those things where I make living with borderline easy to live with where you and I know different. When you’re in pain is it like somebody uses your spinal cord as a series of guitar strings and then so you get things like spasticity running through your spine? That then affects maybe your hands, maybe sometimes you get tingling in your fingers? You know that kind of stuff. Lets just say I’ve had to bite my tongue a few times when talking to people outside as my patients is threadbare and the slightest of things test my patience (which is not like me at all, I’m usually very tolerant) also there a strange feeling like my shoe is full of liquid, which is bizarre 🧐 you are always welcome to the big hugs and cuddles Eva 👍

@@kermitsghost I tend to do a lot of clenching when I’m in spa this is his mode and then if I’m sat at a 70° angle too long, I can sit at a 90° angle for crap. I have a buildup of spa tea and I need to stretch my legs out and then essentially I’m basically sitting down with completely straight legs. When you’re in pain, it’s a little different, you have zero tolerance for anybody. It’s like will you just listen to what do you know what I’m saying? Also you I’m guessing you’re looking for some form of understanding, so when people don’t understand even when you’re trying to explain it’s like I wanna kick your ass. That about cover it? 🖤🖤🖤
