DanCo has no idea what he's talking about. He's inflating Gladiator stats to fit his narrative. During that fight he didn't knock Wonder Man into the core of the planet. He just pounded him until he was buried and probably unconscious. He also neglects to mention that Eric Masterson in Thor's body beat Gladiator into unconsciousness and would have beaten him to death if not for a Wonder Man and the Vision didn't pull him off him. Anyone can see blue Marvel is stronger than this guy. Hyperion laid out Gladiator and blue Marvel laid-out King Hyperion.

Everyone seems to overlook the fact that Blue Marvel wasn't trying to hurt the Avengers when he fought them. Even before Blue Marvel landed the punch that knocked Sentry into orbit and temporarily unconscious, he indicated that he wasn't sure how much power to use against Sentry. Blue Marvel suspected that Sentry might be able to take one of his "normal" punches. He wasn't trying to kill him. He wasn't even throwing all of his weight behind the punch. It was a "let's see if you can handle this" punch. Result? Sentry takes a standing 8 count in the upper ionosphere. Now imagine if Blue Marvel had gone into that fight throwing his "normal" jabs. And then imagine if Blue Marvel was throwing even harder punches with the intent of dropping Sentry. Anti-Man couldn't take that punishment. King Hyperion couldn't take that punishment. There's no way that Gladiator takes that punishment as Thunderstrike, normal Hyperion, Hulk and others have shown. And that's just the physical aspect of Blue Marvel's power. What happens to Gladiator when Blue Marvel starts unleashing all of his antimatter energy based powers? Gladiator would literally be annihilated. All the confidence in the universe wouldn't save him. Even without knowing the upper limits of Blue Marvel's abilities, I can confidently say that Gladiator is a level below Blue Marvel. Still a badass, but not Thor/Hulk/Sentry/Blue Marvel level.

@@davidc7656 What does the character creator's ethnicity have to do with this? Anyway, never forget that Gladiator is Marvel's analog for Superboy. Not Superman. Not Superboy Prime. Not Superman 1,000,000. Superboy, as in Superboy and the Legion of Superheroes, which is what the Imperial Guard is. As such, Gladiator is not supposed to be as powerful as some of the other big guns, and if you research his history you'll see he has been defeated by characters a level below Thor/Sentry/Blue Marvel on a number of occasions.

One thing about DanCo is that it is obvious he favors some superheroes than others and that automatically puts the winner in place. In one of his videos for example, he said Superman would destroy Shazam which we could agree with but I don’t think he would brutally beat down the guy because it is clearly stated by Superman himself that they ARE equals. DanCo also used a non-canon feat to determine how powerful Superman is, that was the Injustice Sequel, where he states Superman Burned right through his Skull(I believe this cannot happen because 1-Canon means related to, and it is not related to the main DC universe , 2- Shazam is Indestructible). Over all I do believe that a lot of DanCo’s videos are fun to watch but are very inaccurate. We can give him credit for entertainment but not for accuracy and fairness.

I know that this is an old video but I had to I say agree with you. It's not even that complicated. Blue Marvel was holding back and didn't to kill the avengers. Dude was holding back and straight up one shotted the Sentry...THE SENTRY! IRONMAN straight up said he was fearing for his life, and Blue Marvel was holding back. Claims that Sentry is Physically superior to adam and contradicts and overhypes certain feats. Like "beating World War Hulk" when they stalemated. When a black character in comics uses and controls powers that common sense tells you can beat everybody else in the comic universe it gets vague and what they can do gets watered down and weakened if the hero character is too shaded instead of bright complexion. Everybody in comics is made of some form of matter. Blue Marvel uses, can absorb, control and generates antimatter and is powered and strength enhanced even more by antimatter energy and matter if he chooses too. He doesn't need to eat so it's his choice. Nuff said.
