The auto is for more show and wow factor but I recently went to buy a manual and the old man kept pushing for the auto so I got the auto for 350 and I like it

I have had out the side blades and currently have a couple out the front autos but like you prefer the manual blade. I’ve carried the same knife for 16 years, out the side manual baby! That benchmade is slicker then snot

I'm really impressed with how smooth it is out of the box. I've got a Spyderco PM2 that I customized, broke in and even polished the pivot points and this Benchmade is right there with it, if not better, brand spanking new. Thanks buddy!

I’m having the exact same argument in my head right now. I have a manual Adamas at my local knife store that I have handled and closely inspected, and I LOVE it! I have quite a knife collection (waay too many according to my wife) but I don’t have any autos and I really planned to get the automatic. But the manual is 250.00 and the auto is 360.00! You made some great points about closing the auto and the joy of fidgeting while watching tv. I absolutely can’t decide!

Some of those flippers are really nice. Yeah, the OTF's are a novelty or fantasy type knife TO ME. I'm sure others would beg to differ, just my .02.

A lil late to the party🎉 Havin both, if I could only keep one, it'd be the manual, all day every day 7/365🤙 The auto is a superb OTS, though I carry my AFO II & Claymore autos much more often, however that has more to do with size than anything else. The Adamas manual is smooth and quick on deployment with the difference bein negligible with the auto once ya get used to it. The Adamas 2750GY is the sh!t, it just ain't the 275GY🤷🏻‍♂️ Continued Sucess Brotha👊 RP

It won't take long. I saw other people slinging them open like a Spidey flick. But where I've been flicking the 💩 out of PM2's for like a million times, my muscle memory needs honing.

The black one automatic knives are cool but more stuff to fail and easier to stab yourself through your pocket.

They both have safety switches to prevent the knife from being opened or closed, I just prefer not to use them. I agree, more things to fail, especially on an otf.
