Good review! I'm right before buying one and was wondering the whole time why I like every circuit of that amp so much and why they constantly remind me about some of my favorite amps. If its true what you are saying, that the Vintage is based on Revv Purple, the Classic on modded Marshalls and the Modern on Engls and the Kraken then its all clear now :D

Yes it has 1 IR you can engage or not, I prefer to bypass it and use mine on the DAW

Try a 6 or 10 band eq in the loop, and a 4x12 cab, prett damn close to my dual rec half stack, almost ....

i use the Mercury Edition from bluguitar, killer sound! but sometimes i wished to have also the iridium, especially when i play my Ibanz RG8 😉

The mercury is as good man, try a 10 band eq pedal in the loop, and an overdrive pedal in front of the mercury

Can this amp go straight out onto a frfr speaker? Or does it need a loadbox? Do you just use recording out to activate the buit in cab sim? Thanks!

Yes you do not need any loadbox! this is something amazing...and from the rec out you can engage or disengage the built in IR.
