Everyone knows that if it had been another band like moth to flames the plot in you make them suffer I bet they’re popularity would’ve blew up too because people do not know metal they don’t listen to metal probably not and the only time they got introduced to it was the Jimmy Kimmel live and the Summer Olympics with gorjia but that was probably the only time they really have been introduced to it an I put grayscale new album over knocked loose album to an alpha wolf do I need to keep going? I feel like a lot of bands I've known and been a fan of for years brought forgettable/slightly disappointing albums this year, but bands I didn't know or didn't like before (Imminence, Eidola, Galleons, Night Verses, LMTF etc.) put out absolute gems

No, I hope they get bigger and they go even heavier. A band like Knocked Loose getting huge is fantastic for the scene, and fantastic for the moral perception of the scene as well. It’s better to be represented by bands like Knocked Loose and Spiritbox than it is to be represented by Falling in Reverse or something.

While I personally wouldn't consider this year as good as 2023, it is really cool to finally agree with the popular take this year. Knocked Loose deserved to sweep this and all the other awards they've been included in. They've gotten big by sticking to their guns and becoming heavier and heavier, while also not being afraid to do some interesting experimentation that makes the album feel varied. In my opinion, it is the best album of the 2020's so far. This year has also set up 2025 to be an amazing year musically, with new Killswitch Engage, Spiritbox, Burn Eternal, Whitechapel, and August Burns Red's Thrill Seeker rerecording, which is already a lineup to compete with this year. I am also speculating that Converge, Godseyes, Frontierer, and Loathe will drop at some point.

Not even winning one category was surprising. I don’t agree with this. I’m a hxc fan and it’s knocked loose’s best album imo, and I loved their other albums. I think it’s a masterpiece. The production alone is absolutely stellar and I loved the wall of sound approach to the mix. It’s one of the heaviest mixes I’ve heard in heavy music, next to Converge’e Jane Doe and Nails’s Unsilent Death. I compare YWGBYST to those albums.
