BMW 335i N54 MHD Stage 2+ Tune First Drive

I installed catless downpipes, 5" Intercooler, Aluminum charge pipe and Forge diverter valves. I did an MHD Stage 2+ tune and this thing really goes now!!!
The microphone on my iphone picked up a lot of the external sound so my voice is a little drowned out. All in all though the tune was definitely worth it!! I love it!!

My 2008 335i throws the same code sometimes when I hit it hard and have a lower grade gas in it. Always make sure to get the best gas from reliable places now

Mines was getting the code a lot every time I floor it till I did the mhd v9 and fixed the problem didn’t change nothing at all boss try the v9 hope it helps you

The 335 comes with about 270 wheel hp and the tune is supposed to give it 400 whp

I have another question for you! Hope you can help me out. I was wondering with the Downpipes, how much smell are you getting? Heard they release alot of gas smell or exhaust smell. If you do get it. Is it tolerable? When do you get it the most? At red lights? Or just driving down the street? Thank You!

Shawn Mills Actually I only get it when i am sitting idle with like the door open or when i start it up. I don’t smell it at all when i’m driving. Even sitting at stop lights i don’t smell it. Hope this helps!

I had the same issue as you for months. Short gears were fine but 4th 5th and 6th pulls always threw a 30ff code. That high pitched sound might be a leak. Mine was underneath the vacumm canisters, the small nipple attachment was cracked. Also the codes went away after I cleaned the carbon from my intake valves and got rid of the diverter valves and went with a greddy BOV

Yeah it drove me crazy for a while! I did change all the vacuum lines.. it turned out to be the solenoids. It could be that vacuum canister, that is about the only thing I didn't replace. I eventually plan on cleaning the intake valves.. Thanks for the suggestions!

Once you ordered it how long did it take to come? Do all the packs have cat delete? I have to pass emissions

Mhd is an app for the iphone and android. just pay and download. you can have more horsepower in about 30 min. there are packs you can run with the cats.. I do it the hard way. I put my cats back on before emissions.

I also have stage 2+ mhd and the error is 30ff but only the map stage2 + beta v8, stage2 + v7 maps is in order. I have new big intercooler, chargepipe, downpipe, 2xturbo, 2xboost solenoid, inlets + sport filter, new tubing and I do not know the advice :( please, I'm excited about the advice Thank you

Hi Stany, It is such a hard code to troubleshoot.. for me it was the boost solenoids that was causing the problem. as soon as i replaced them the 30ff code went away. I had replaced everything else in the vacuum system and was still getting the code.. The solenoids were the only thing I didn't replace, so I figured they had to be the culprit..

it was a 30ff low boost code. It was the turbo solenoids that were causing it. Once I replaced them the code went away.
