you are right. EPS checks vin inside FSC and vin of the car. it is not checking the vin written in the EPS itself

Hello, I have a BMW F20 prod. date 11/06/2012 (dd/mm/yyyy) with servotronic eps, recently bought a servotronic eps produced in 06/12/12012. Can i replace the old eps with this "new"? Is it possible to inject the fsc from mine eps into the “new” or do we have limitations regarding the production date of the new eps? Best regards.

Yes. You can inject your own original "repair" fsc, it will replace old one in older eps. I can get the repair fsc for you by vin and help with injecting remotely. (cable Enet needed)

I’ ve read in multiple forums that we only can do that if the donor eps is older than the one installed in car. Have you done already the opposite and the servotronic in the end works properly?

@@mrpigzzoid that is rigth - it is only possible if installed EPS (donor) older then original FSC date. in case when donor EPS had servotronic fsc code in it.

Thank you for your help. By the chance, do you know if changing the motor from mine eps to the donor we could make it work? Or we also need to move the torque sensor?

@@mrpigzzoid it is always better to install full used EPS all-in-one, not changing or dismounting something like motor etc. it could be painful often

My E93's EPS change with a 2nd hand used EPS ZBnumber 6855892, is it can work with your e-sys?

It is possible to buy it from my friend. If it was in stock car - from 30eur (repair code), if it wasn't in stock - from 400eur.
